The Wine and Cheese Thread

Bouchard Hautes-Côtes de Beaune 'Les Prieurés' 2013

I've become very wary of Chardonnays, but this one was good. Normally I prefer my whites more mineral than this, but I really enjoyed it. Very fruity, quite heavy.

Reviving this (thanks to MeekMe) to love on Apothic Fiery and Menage a Trois black.

And a loving nod to Stilton with apricot.

I've been delighted that Apothic has raised its game (or at least widened its distribution range) lately. Have greatly enjoyed the Apothic Dark and now I'll look for the Fiery, too.

A reminder to self to get over to CostPlus tomorrow and get a bottle of Electric Reindeer. The label makes me giggle.

And scored a wedge of Wensleydale with cranberries today. Gut Yule!

Not wine or cheese, but there is yeast involved;
I've got some honey wheat bread rising.

We didn't smoke cheese this year like we usually do during the holidays. Now I'm regretting that we didn't prioritize it.
