Where's the "I don't care" option? :D

That's what I pick. I'd ban voting altogether myself. It seems to get people in too much of an uproar, to the point where some of us seem more concerned about that than the poems, which seems totally counterproductive to me.

I always put my name on comments when I use the "anonymous" option. Sometimes, if I'm in a rush, it's easier to be anonymous than log in, but I do stick my name on there. Votes mean nothing to me though--comments (either in the comments field or here in threads) are great. I don't even care when they're nasty--rude or lewd. I just read em and work with whatever is helpful in them. But votes? Gah--big pain in the butt. ;)

i'm quite relieved to see you awake in daylight. :)

....maybe it's just Renfield at the keys, confusing those who track you, repaying you for a generosity of spiders as you sleep.

:rose:

Ya have to see him
slippin SPIDERS in Lauren's Bed.
As she lays sleepin.
So quiet, eerily so.
A pin drop could be heard ...
Spiders silently slippin up tha covers ...
Lauren's lil soft snores flowin over
their tiny fiber like hairs.
Soft breeze ...
BIG Black One ...
slowly crawls ...
shimmies up to her breast.
Eyelids lift ...
Encountering beady black eyes ...

WhooooHoooo ~!!

Sorry Lauren, the mind ...
'Tis a terrible thing to waste ~ :D

I don't snore, but I'll give you two thumbs up for the magenta lettering alone. :D

Sorry My Friend.
It was part and parcel
of tha hair like fibers ...
The spiders or yours?
GoosebumpVille ~

I just had sinus surg.
So a soft gentle womanly lil snore
seemed appropriate ..
*Grins*

Thank You for the 2 Thumbs up.

Positive? They're anonymous! Isn't that like a crime against humanity?

Of course one wonders why anonymous is banned over here, but not over in new poems. I don't know if it was always done that way.

I don't know either, but that's a good point!... :)

New poems can't be anonymous. They need to be submitted by registered members. :)

No Lauren, you misunderstood; the question was: Why someone can not come over here at this thread and post anything anonymously? I assume that wasn't always the case.

I don't know, you need to take that one to Laurel.

why is it a good point?

no one can do ANYTHING on the threads other than see them, unless they're registered, can they?

or am i wrong?

that's the way the system is set up.

the general public can read stories and poems and comment and vote and also read the threads ( all of which is meant to bring them back again and keep them here and tell their friends - part of the overall business plan of literotica ), but to participate on the threads you must become a member, which is easy and free.

that's the way it was set up by laurel and manu.

i think that makes sense, and is a smart business model.

Yes. Having more registered members (because if you don't register you can't participate on the forum) meansmore leverage in negotiating publicity space from where all the money comes.

And forcing readers to register in order to vote and comment means less votes and less comments, which in turn leads to less happy authors, less stories, and less money.

dear, cute jennifer,

my main point was that the anonymous debate has been beaten bloody, to death, and probably should be buried, at least from a "let's stir it up again" standpoint.

everyone's opinion has been given, made clear, and this poll was it's eulogy, wake, and funeral all wrapped into one tidy ball, i assumed. :)

i'm on the beach. i don't wear pants...often.

Yeah, but as Charley's signature says, it's so difficult not to write satire in this crazy world of ours... :D

Lol, it didn't have anything to do with the debate, it was just a statement and now were having a debate over not having a debate ~ my head is starting to spin!...
