Finally finishing a story that I've been working on for a very long time....
My daughter had a temper tantrum while I was at work. She refused to take off her winter clothes after coming in and sat down on the floor refusing to move.
So, 5 minutes later, I come home from work I find her sleeping on the floor while wearing warm clothes...

Day One. Over 6k already. Hell yes!!
Congrats on the great start, Brit. (Which made me smile)
Mine got off to a not so good start. My first piece of my Nano died when I tried to save it (~600 words in), and the word processor crashed. I got another 400 words out after that, but the momentum for the day was gone. (Which made me not smile)
Just like today (Day #2 of Nano), where I had lots of other distractions taking up the day. (Which made me smile LOTS)
Day #3, I shall catch up.

I'm surprised you can't see them twinkling away, there are that many I'm sure they're at least partly visible from space.
But, isn't that how it should be?
