Trying to get Prototype to work this morning. There's a nasty sound bug that, along with making cutscenes unwatchable (since the video also lags like crazy) it actually kept freezing at the end of the first mission.

Cue spending the next half an hour or so trying to find the fix, downloading the application I need to apply said fix, waiting ages while audio files were extracted or moved until finally the game ran properly, all the while cursing the developers for not fixing it and never releasing a single patch for the game. Seriously; not a single patch has been released for the PC version of the game.

The PS3 version got one small patch, but I guess that the developers didn't consider a sound bug making the PC version unplayable as important enough to fix, but god-forbid that they lose the PS3 market!

If they do this with the sequel then I imagine a few of you in the States or even Europe'll hear me swearing my lungs out.
