Things that made you swear today.

Wow. As if I needed confirmation you never played football.

Let me try explaining this again, because you're an idiot. Guy one CATCHES football. Opposing team member rips it from his hands. It bounces off his face, his knee, his foot, his face again, then lands on the ground, but bounces UP into the hands of second guy from same team and is held. That is NOT an incomplete pass, that's a recovered fumble. Now do you understand why what you think is bullshit?

An almost dry garden mucked up again with more blasted heavy rain.

Finding out that the Performance brand Jump Pack (rumble pack) for the Dreamcast is actually more powerful than the Madcatz Duo Force 1 for the PSX, the most powerful vibration controller I've ever used o.o

Realising I go back to work in a month...where the hell did the year go...??
I guess time flies when you're having fun...being a Mum :D

My new iPhone not connecting the wireless network at home. Why can I never get stuff to connect to a wireless network? First my computer (resulting in a cord running half-way across the house), then my Wii (which I've just given up on) and now the iPhone. Am I just cursed to always have ill-luck with wireless networks or something?!

Hang on... that gives me an idea for a Shadowrun character. Although it could be a bit too crippling considering that just about everything in that setting has wireless tech. Even fridges, toasters and (if you decide to get data storage put in them) underwear. Seriously, I think the rules for adding data storage to something can be used to make your underwear double as your music collection.

Mate, that would give 'crappy music' a whole new dimension.

Or be an apt place to keep your porn collection. :p

On the plus side; got my phone connected to the wi-fi. Turns out I had to type the password in in all-caps.

Woke up this morning and saw more snow coming. Enough already!

You'd think that with all the freezing cold in the air, it would kill all the things I'm allergic to.

...but of course not. >.<

Giving myself a pedicure, the razor blade I use to remove any hard skin slipped, and embedded in my heel, and while it didn't actually hurt at the time, it bled profusely, but now that I've finished swearing, and stopped the bleeding, its starting to hurt like Hell!!!

Walking will be painful for a while. I got stabbed in the heel by my little brother's belt buckle post a couple of years ago....was not fun.

Not my favorite time of the year.
Valentine's day makes me feel like Charlie Brown with his empty valentines box.
and my upcoming birthday just makes me feel old and lazy.

Damn :(

Finding one of the strongest acids in the world down at the lab at college.

Aqua Regia, it looks disgusting, it smells disgusting.. wow..

Trying to go without pain meds today to regain my mental state, and the pain steadily increasing due to strain at work. Some choice: brain wasted or blinding pain.

Been there, done that!!

Try spacing the meds out a little, use heat and ice packs, and in so far as possible, rest up!

Thanks for the advice, Sally. If I can just get through until I make it home, I can use my traction and also my TENS unit to help. In the meantime, I'm trying to get by with muscle cream and ibuprofen (sparingly).
