so bored that i'm actually contemplating doing more cleaning than i typically do on fridays. if i could remember where the furniture polish or window cleaner was i'd probably bust it out and do some housekeeping. this place isn't dirty but i'm no cleaning fanatic... vacuum, sweep, launder... that's about all i do.

So how much do you charge for these services and when can you get to my place? My kids aren't quite old enough to do the stuff I really hate--which is most of it.

We spent last night at the speedway in the freezing cold watching monster trucks and demo derby (yawn)......bloody feral kids and loud yobs and the place was packed so you could hardly move....and then I lose an hour of sleep (daylight saving started today). I didn't drink too much so I didn't have to try and fight my way to the toilets.....and bugger waiting over 30 mins in a queue to get food, I made bacon & egg jaffles when we got home! Can you tell I'm a bit grumpy???

We would rather have stayed home but Gil is on the rescue crew so had to be there......I enjoy the regular speedway nights much better when it's all racing and not gimmicky stuff. However the speedway needs the backsides trackside to hopefully attract more people to the sport, so I guess I can live with it (just wish it wasn't so cold last night!)

Well lately...that I haven't had time to do anything.. Between EMT class, work and a bijillion other issues (including testifying in an embezzlement case) I just seem to be running ragged.

Had my first "Complete" physical the other day. Yeah..nothing like paying huge amounts of money to be literally ass raped by my doctor. At first I was thinking, "hey I've been to lit..I'm open minded..this isn't that bad...OH HOLY MOTHER OF GOD IS SHE USING HER ENTIRE ARM!!!" That was proceeded with an EKG (my chest now looks like a cat with scurvey from the razor) which showed a problem..so it's off to a cardiologist for more tests.

But the top of my pissed off list you ask?? Well lately I've been having this issue with the little guy. I've got absolutely no problem getting into the game so to speak..but lately (the last couple of months...) He...well...he goes and sits on the bench before the end of the first half. It's just like in the middle of things he says, Ok..time for a nap. Fortunate that the SO is understanding of the issue, but it's really starting to bug the hell out of me. Guess I'll just keep making up for it with extended foreplay and afterplay.....But I hope he gets out of his funk soon.

People who come to my front door to sell things. They always pick the wrong time and almost always the 3rd sentence out of their mouth is... "Oh your American...love the accent..are you from the south?" And we move from there to all the what brought you here junk. Mind you I always say, "My husband is british, we moved here to be near family."

And usually right on the heels of that is.. "Are the owners of the house in?" WTF...can I not be the owner of the house just because I have an American accent? And did they not pick up on the "Moved Here" bit?

Not really pissed off, just annoyed. Parent-teacher conferences are coming up and last week we had to let the school know if Wednesday from 3-6 or next Monday from 6-9 was more convenient for us. I checked Wednesday from 3-6 for both kids.

Both conferences have been scheduled for Wednesday at 3:10.

My parents.. and what they've been doign to my sister since she lost her job not too long ago. They've really gone above and beyond to tell her everything that they think is wrong with her (i.e. that she's fat, lazy, a slob, an unfit parent, etc.) and then have the nerve to sit there and think that they're being encouraging. They dont fucking get how negative they are when it comes to everything like that and then wonder why I tell them I dont like their negativity and won't talk to them as long as they're like that.....
