Things that piss you off?

So the girls who I want to room with won't budge on where they want to live. They want to live in campus sponsored housing. It's $700 a month per person and that doesn't include utilities. It pisses me off because I found a 3 BR for 700 a month, so that's like $233 a person about 10 minutes away (better nieghborhood, closer to the city) and they don't want to live their because it's "to far away." It's a fucking subway ride away from campus! I'm moving back home next year, because if I wanted to pay 700 a month plus utilities I could get my own place.

I am so fucking tired of the moronic leaders that are chosen because they have a piece of paper that says they spent an assload of their parents money to go party, while the rest of us had to go to work to pay our bills.

I have been really tired all day today, mostly because I stayed up too late last night. I tried so hard to take a nap this afternoon. And it really pisses me off that every time I got to being almost completely asleep, the phone would ring. The truly irritating part is that every call was spaced just about even apart in terms of time frame. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I can cope (just) with my main partition shitting itself (I may have helped ).
I can cope with spending three days trying to fix it.
I can cope with the fact that it's screwed.
I can cope with the fact that the new hard drive I bought wont run because my power supply doesn't have a SATA cable .
I can cope with the fact that I managed to salvage an old 425 mb hard drive and install 98 on it.
What I can't cope with is Internet Explorer, it's loading pages at a rate of, well actually I don't know, it doesn't say, but it's sloooooooooow, and it doesn't have tabs ( I know there are addons but you wont convince me so don't even try) and... and... well anyone who has outgrown it will know what I mean and those that haven't don't know what they are missing.

one of the projects i work on every year is being handled by a different person than the one i've worked with for the past four years. this guy is a total jackass and an utter moron.

for the three of the past four years i've produced this publication on cd... and i personally burned each and every one of the 700 +/- cd's every year. for the last 4 months we've been emailing one another trying to get acquainted and settle on how we'll be collaborating this year. in his last email to me he said, "and let me be clear, you did not burn the cd's last year. Gxxxxx did them."

i about flew out of my seat when i read it and felt like telling him to take the project, roll it up in a paper towel tube and shove it up his ass. how dare that mother fucker tell me what i did or didn't do. not to mention it was totally out of context... it was just a paragraph at the end of the email.

i'm happy to say that i tactfully corrected him (out of context and at the end of my email) by saying, "let me assure you that i personally burned, labeled and stuffed each and every cd that was received by your organization for the last 3 years."

douche bag.

people who don't save (or can't find) the installer files for software they've downloaded.

here's a helpful tip from your uncle EJ:
when you download software, particularly important software (like antivirus utilities), save the installer file somewhere where you can easily find it. personally, i have a folder called "downloaded software" and everything that i've downloaded and is currently in use is saved in that folder.

It's a good thing we drive the small car more often.

I'm assuming gas costs around $3.36 per gallon or thereabouts in your part of the world?

Thats nothing.. Gas here in Ontario canada is $106 a liter.

i was reading a news article yesterday and they mentioned that gas was 45 cents in saudi arabia and about a quarter in venezuala. this isn't adjusted for average wage so it could be misleading... but still.
