Two of my favorite things are superheroes (because I’m a kid at heart) and pinups. A few years ago, DC Comics combined the two with DC Bombshells, featuring such stalwarts as Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and Black Canary. You can imagine my joy when I found a pair of boxer briefs with those characters on them.

Back in a previous life I worked in radio. My career came to an inglorious end five years ago. Five years before that, one of the stations I worked for had a big concert that Flogging Molly were the headliner for. I got to see them live, which was fucking incredible, and I have an autographed poster now. That was definitely a career highlight.
I’m glad you liked the pic. Hopefully I’ll wake up enough so my ass isn’t dragging too much today.

Not according to my last program director. Three weeks before he cut me loose, he told me that my voice wasn’t “up to standard,” and I couldn’t be on any commercials longer than five seconds. In hindsight, that should have been a red flag that he was going to get rid of me.
It’s funny, I’m making better money now, driving a forklift, than I did my last five years in radio. That industry got really cheap. Part of me wants to go back, but the rest of me remembers me working myself to death for pay I couldn’t live on.
