Years of abuse and getting kicked around finally caught up to her. After her botched abortion over the summer she has been strangely ill and had several infections...not going to touch on the emotional problems (not just the abortion, a lifetime of nightmares)...and so she took a bottle of pain pills mixed with a bottle of sleeping pills, cut her wrists, and threw herself into a warm bath. Her sister found her passed out in a pool of blood.

Since everyone wanted to know.

Handle that how you will, because I sure as hell don't know what to think.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hope that once she's physically recovered she can start (or continue) working on a way to resolve the issues that led her to this.

I've disagreed with both of you in the past, but all that stuff is inconsequential compared to what Tania is going through now. No one deserves to suffer like that. I wish her only the very best. I agree with Cate--a speedy physical recovery and the strength and grace to begin healing her soul.
