Question
Do you know what a Riddle me ree is do you have them in the US? I'm hoping the answer is yes or my next poem hits trouble at the outset

I found this :
Riddle me, riddle me, ree;
A little man in a tree;
A stick in his hand,
A stone in his throat,
If you tell me this riddle
I'll give you a groat.

but I've never hear that phrase before

Oh, and we're supposed to guess what is in where?

Sort of you have to find the letter in each of the words I've given you (curly etc) that makes up the big word at the end. A riddle me ree is really a children's word puzzle

c__t

Awwwww you're such a honeybunch

It's like
My first is in curly cos thats what it is
my second in fucking do it in this
my third is in anal you won't find it there
my last in a tremendous orgasmic affair.

sorry just made that up lol

1st at letter 1
2nd at 2
3rd at 2
4th at 1

would someone please extend a hand or foot of slight violence through this monitor so to offer strong motivation to go outside? this is craziness, such a beautiful day out there, and before long it'll be all smokey... what the fuck am I doing inside, here? Nuts I tell ya, really nuts.

I have the same malady did take the dog to the vet though and got dragged kicking and screaming into KFC what a waste of money that was and now I'm hungry

Beauty in the eye of the beholder? Here its too hot to be out for a long time - at 6:30 PM the radio said 102 F and then 90 at 10. Its gotten above 95 every day since early June. And humid heat, but no rain for a month.

Texas?

Yes - Houston, so I hope drought not broken by hurricane this year
(or tropical storm - 2001 TS Allison dropped up to 39 in. of rain over 5 day period. Silver lining for me was TSARP LIDAR data I used in my research.)

Got a few big D summers under my belt. Drank gallons of tea.

oh ha ha very funny!

Conversation this morning at breakfast excuse my punctuation.

Me "I don't know why I never get nice mail all I get is home insurance and funeral plans. I don't care what you do with me after I'm dead you can put me on the compost heap for all I care."
Ron "We're going to have you roasted."
Me "Honey roasted?"
Ron "Yes honey roasted and stood on the dunes of Sea Palling." (The tiny village where I grew up, a pretty miserable time)
Me " Looking out to sea? Or facing inward giving the finger?"

Well! that's the first time I have been compared to a large stone structure battered by the elements and several people climbing over it before they put a barrier up (yes I was one that did many moons ago!) and worshipped by the Druids

No I was 13 or so, with my family in the early 60's. Just a day trip from Harwell. I thought the horse carved into the Downs (why are they called that, since they're hills ?) was neat.
