It's virtually guarenteed that anything I say is said in a spirit of sarcasm, or at least fun. Just for future reference. (Except to AA. For some strange reason, so far I just somehow haven't felt like that would be a very good idea. Hey, I'm a brat, not an idiot.) So the catty grumbling in your general direction wasn't serious either.

didn't know if maybe you weren't half-serious because going to extra trouble as it turned out to start the thread. Some might consider it rude, if you'd meant it to be exclusive, and I could understand that. So was just trying to say I hadn't seen the sign over the door.
I DO sometimes (a lot?) go off on inappropriate tangents on threads, which AA surely doesn't. I Should be more careful.

The Other Half of the Dice Roll...

I wrote an analysis of the “Assassin” in the AV, now I will try to find the “Angelic”.

To be Angelic, one must be “like or have characteristics of an angel.” An angel is widely considered to be a white-robed, winged guardian and protector. The tarot being held up is The Fool and by the same token, to be a fool, is widely thought to be mentally defective or of questionable intelligence. In dealing with you, I don’t see a robed, mentally defective, idiot protector.

IMHO, the Fool on the tarot card (perhaps a prospective submissive) beckons – questioning if the observer of the AV is ready to embark on an adventure to discover the deepest desires of their heart. Asking if the viewer is prepared to expand their horizons and open up to experience complete joy under the watchful eyes of a guardian/protector.

The “fool” holding the card is altogether different. He is dressed as a fool, but the visual countenance is that of one superior to man in power and intelligence – an angel, if you will – with a marked fondness or talent for a certain activity.

If that activity is Domination, it explains the two, seemingly, contradictory illustrations. You, as the angelic Dominant, would provide everything necessary for complete submission. Erasing your submissive’s inhibitions and pushing them further past limits they never knew they had, you would require them to lay all of their worries and fears at your feet and walk away from them – to humbly bask in your grace; believing that you will take care of their every need and desire. Your sub would obey, even your whispered commands, without question and accept your discipline, for disobedience; and reward for being pleasing.

The penetrating facial expression relays your determination to dominate with a firm, but loving, hand - giving guidance and direction all the way. The obscurity behind you signifies what the future holds for one so inclined to venture inside your world. Access to your deepest, darkest desires – is a gift and awaits the one fortunate enough to be allowed to experience all that you have to offer. ANYONE contemplating a liaison with the AngelicAssassin had better check duplicity at the door – because YOUR guardian, the wolf, will smell a fake – then your caustic wit will have carte blanche to attack, dissolve and destroy.

It was much more difficult to see the Angel in the Assassin; but I learned many things and the AV is much more clearly focused, for me, now. Thank you for allowing me to roll the dice. I hope they don’t come up “CRAPS”!

I'm sure you recognize that much of what you say here may well tell more about you than about AA...

Also, the fool in Tarot isn't a fool but an innocent. The fool card connotes the adventurer -- one who can serenely step off the edge of a cliff... and land safely. The wise fool who traispes in where Angels fear to tread....

And isn't Angelic Assassin also the Angel of Death?
The other thing I got from the AV is that the fool character is holding up the fool card, his own identity card. One who makes his own fortune.

I felt like the holding the card out to us, the watchers, is saying, are you a fool, too? And what kind of fool are you?

(Anyway, hope you don't mind my stepping in with my own little Psych degree Esclava. It's a fascinating game.)

Perhaps in the sense that he might want to kill a non-submissive spirit or attitude; but I even have a problem with that. I don't see the "Angel" in him as destructive - that is the job of the "Assassin".

(Personally, btw, I Hate that av mostly. Reminds me too much of how all those scary clowns looked to me at the circus when I was a child. Like they were trying to look benign but were really sad and mean. I enjoy and relate to AA from his posts and just ignore the AV mostly. I like the colors and the lines, just not the expression, that painful grimace. His voice comes thru when he writes though. When I first came on here months ago and no one would answer my newbie interest in Mind Fuck, he directed me, made me feel welcome and had such an interesting voice.... Wondered about him ever since. Didn't even know if he was male or female for a long time. Trying to remember his voice that first time. Kind of like a warm whisper in a dark room or a sharp pinpoint of light swooping down through fog. The sense that a lot is going on back there. Did you see the 'what song do you hear from posters' thread? I actually do get music -- jazz. Different kinds. )
