Too experienced

I don't know if you noticed, but this thread is 3 years old.

In any case, I would be put off with a sub who was too experienced. Leaves less first time experiences for her and I to share together.

I think there is a lot to say for pacing yourself. Even in my current relationship, we are moving slowly with our kinks. Other lifestylers are CONSTANTLY trying to push new shit on us, but I almost always refuse. I don't see any reason to do things JUST to do it, even if all the cool kids are doing urethral play. I prefer to save some things for the future.

*laughs* yeah I noticed.
Personally, I've never placed much value in experience, experience is only fractionally important compared to personal ability. It is what you've managed to learn from your experience, sometimes experience just makes people totally arrogant and blind. I've seen it many times before, older people who refuse to believe that they might not know better than me merely because They've been alive longer, it's utter nonsense.

*ahem* anyway, this thread is actually pretty relevant to me, odds of me getting a Dom/me my age are pretty good, and odds of them knowing what they're doing is bad. I'll probably just let them do their thing, follow their lead. That will change if they either wanna do something unsafe, or want advice I guess. Does everyone think that'll work?

With enough communication, I think it'll work. My sub was 13 years younger than I and I'm fairly novice, where she was not, but that part did work out. It was for other reasons that the relationship imploded.
