Spreader Bars

The larger bar can be stretched to 3 different lengths but the smaller one is stable at one length...When I purchase a third it will definately be the one with variable lengths..same price..3 times the use.

I believe it would not be difficult to make spreader bars very economically..perhaps someone here has that expertise and would share it in this thread.

the smaller wooden paddle is custom made from maui wood..very hard with a slight scooped out spoon effect. Nice for a change but but My favorite.

the leather 3 split paddle gives quite a whallop and a hell of a noise. Well crafted and easy on the hand. Leaves nice marks but definately more an add on to the bag than a first purchase in My opinion.

the large rectangular wooden paddle is very hard and covers an amazing amount of ass. Pain or pleasure, depending how You use it. It also has scare effect just by seeing it coming!

Spreader bars are easy to make. Just go to the hardware or lumber yard and buy a thick wooden dowel, like the kind you see used for curtain rods. Drill a hole in each end and screw in a pair of eye hooks, and you're all set.
If you'd like a portable version, go to the paint department and get paint brush handle extensions. Basically, they are 9 or 12 inch rods about as big around as a broom stick. They are threaded at either end and can be screwed together to whatever lenght you want. Just don't try to use them for suspension.

May I ask where you got the larger leather one with the fleecy backing? I have one just like it, and people often ask me where they can get one, but the place I got mine no longer carries them.
