You Irish devil you! Starting your celebration early?

Well, it's always a celebration when you show up...

and in the spirit of the thread:

TC: I am feeling so much like a "dirty old man" these days, In that the weather has been decent enough for the shorts and skirts to be brought back out the last few days here on campus. I look, and enjoy then realize that the average co-ed on this campus was in kindegarten when I graduated high school. *sigh*

Aw you sweet talker

As for your TC...don't let it stop you from enjoying. Some of us enjoy younger people...that means some younger people enjoy those older than them. Age is just a number...and not necessarily the most important one.

This poses a problem?

TC: i'm annoyed at myself for not burning all my mp3s to cds before wiping the hard drive clean.

TC: Get rid of the stuff, move out of country and live on a beach. I know I would be bored after a month but still tempting.

Better yet - keep all your stuff and live a block from the beach. That way you can enjoy the best of both worlds!

It poses a problem when, in the last 3.5 years I have been a student here, try as I may, I have yet to find a single young lady on this campus or in the surrounding town that likes older men. Being in the middle of Mississippi fundamentalist conservatisim country is a definite *bad thing*.

TC I think I am too easily satisfied. I spring cleaned the daughters room today, spent the rest of the day doing not alot at all but I still feel like I've done a good day's work *LOL*

You're just in the wrong part of the south. ;) Try being a non-christian in the middle of Arkansas fundamentalist conservatism country, married to somebody whose parents not only helped found one of the local baptist churches, but whose father will soon be named deacon.

TC: i LIKE paying bills.

True Confession..

I really hate some of the Posts in the How To and the How To Cafe.. I mean, how many times do we really have to ask about anal Sex people? Hello??!!??

And some of the other ones are just unreadable.. If you really are that illiterate maybe you need to go back to school...

Maybe we should condense the True Confessions and WPMO threads to save time here...lol (though I couldn't agree more ... I guess people haven't heard of the search function or grammar/spellcheck/gradeschool).

True Confession: I went for a hike this afternoon, and for a brief while I actually enjoyed winter. I've decided I like the silence of the forest in winter, no sound but the wind above the trees and the occasional rustle of dead leaves still clinging to branches.

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I do love that poem. It's a contemplation of suicide, and the depiction of a New England winter night just hits a certain chord with me. True confession? I think about death way too much.

I always wondered what that would taste like...people say I'm gross when I mention it though...

They were selling 'Coffee-Nog' at one of the coffee shops at the mall here before Christmas. I tried one, but thought that the coffee would be sweet enough with just the egg nog in it & not sugar....I was wrong on that, and would likely give it another go with a bit of sugar added.

Thanks Lynxie, how are you doing?

I'm doing well, quoll, thanks! :rose:

My TC of the day: Today, I'm feeling at peace with myself and my life. It's a feeling that hasn't been there for quite a long time. Maybe it's just because I had really great sex last night... or maybe I'm finally starting to pull up from my most recent bout of anxiety and depression. But I'm not holding my breath, I'm just going to enjoy it while I've got it.

You haven't hit the links in my sig line, have You? ;) The first goes to my oddball stories, the second goes to an old picture thread, and the third goes to the latest. Which was updated last week.

TC: i like the kids' triops better than they do. They're nifty little critters!

TC: I have had roughly 8 hours of sleep in the last 36. I am headed home and to bed, now that I am caught up on work.
