Yeah yeah, that’s the typical thing to say. You’d be surprised the sources I check.Well, the feeling is mutual about the need to educate yourself. Maybe branch out from CNN and MSNBC a bit.
Your argument seems to be that they’re all the same. Perhaps a secret cabal, even. I’d be happy to read what your sources are.Just a thought. It's a convenient belief that you have, but so be it. Most beliefs are convenient. I maintain that you're being hopelessly naïve about the dangers of the political, economic, and social elites and the way that they are doing real harm to constitutionality, the rule of law, personal freedom, the balance of power, etc.
I suppose all civilizations may fall at some point, but feel free to elaborate. On the other hand yes, our republic is fragile and under extreme pressure at this moment in time. You're also naïve about the unsustainable nature of this present political framework and this civilization. It won't last because it's beyond redemption and these are the very people tearing it down.
Say what? Are you claiming democrats were fine with trump until he ran for office? Do you know trump’s history beyond The Apprentice? The fact that they were fine with Trump until not that long ago and he basically became their enemy only once he ran for office, well, that's very telling.
I’ll provide a link to my survivalist site. Nobody beats my prices. And I mean nooobody!I give it, max, six years, before civilization shatters entirely.
You keep saying that but somehow always sound more like a MAGAt.That being said, Trump's no friend of mine and no hero of mine. I never voted for him in the past and all of my financial donations have been to Democratic candidates, both in 2016 and in 2020. I voted for the Democratic nominee in both election cycles, despite extreme reservations about both Hillary and Biden (especially about Harris, to be frank). I also donated to Democrats in the 2018 mid-terms and voted for the Democratic nominees for Governor and the Senate, and further down the ballot, I might add. I formally left the Democratic Party in the spring of 2020 in disgust, but as stated, I voted for Biden later in the fall. I voted for Tulsi Gabbard in the primaries in that year, though I originally backed Mike Gravel (he dropped out and endorsed both her and Bernie).
I've been an independent ever since. I didn't vote in 2022 due to red tape and complications of my cross-country move (or half-country, given that it was from Arizona to Texas).
You’re looking at surface issues. Well, also maybe a manipulated video to make Harris sound tipsy, unless you have reputable sources.. They did the video thing with Pelosi at one point. I read your take on Harris as CA AG. I guess you’ll have to decide on the lessor of two evils. Choose wisely.I am weighing the positives and negatives, and yes, this is an agonizing decision for me. I actively despise both Harris and Trump, as individuals (I think that he's a bully, a crook, and an opportunistic demagogue, and that she's a corrupt, easily manipulated, and servile, albeit functioning alcoholic) as well as mistrust both parties intensely by now. As Jay Leno once stated, "Every time I think that I'm a Republican, they do something greedy, and every time I think that I'm a Democrat, they do something stupid." Or as Lewis Black put it, "the Republicans are a party of bad ideas and the Democrats are a party of no ideas."
Nobody should be confident of a win. Get out and stump and vote.Ironically, Republicans will say, "both sides arguments help Democrats," and Democrats say the same thing about Republicans. That is very instructive to me. It tells me that neither camp is all that confident of victory. Time to head desk here.
I think our county will settle down if Harris wins and trump is out of the picture. She’s not the wild radical the right paints her as. Read her policies. Doesn’t mean folk don’t change thoughts when realities hit, but still. If Harris wins Republicans can breathe a sigh of relief, regroup, get back to simply being obstructionists and lay off of the extreme fear mongering in favor of the usual rhetoric. If I still drank, I'd get plastered at seeing what a train wreck awaits my country, no matter what happens in November. Fuck my luck. I hate what has happened to America. It wasn't perfect before, but now the body politic is off its rocker. We've lost our ever-loving minds.
