There's so much "you might need" stuff stuffed into every nook and cranny
that when you need it and you know you have it, it's all but impossible to find it
without turning a two-hour project into a day-long project that would have been
a three-hour project if you had just gone to the hardware/auto parts store...

Cold and rainy morning. I did my morning routine and ran my morning errands (got a newspaper and a bear-claw). I also put some pork and onion gravy in the crock pot.

I had the fire on my percolator turned up too high and all the grounds bubbled out of the strainer. No worries. I don't mind a bit of crunch in my cup. Fiber.
