The evaluation was a give-and-take kind of thing. It was interesting. More like, it'll make sense in 90 days when we do the next one. But we did a decent job of it. Everyone is upbeat. I did toss out that I'm still waiting to be second-guessed. It was funny.


I texted with the one guy I still talk to from the old job. I have concluded that everyone there has an ego problem. More ego than balls. I pushed a button. He proved it. That was funny. They deserve each other.


The dumspster woman is here again today. She understands. One trial learning. She'd make a great assistant, until she learned the job, and then she'd make a great s000per. No Jabba about her.

Home. Made my spinach sauce and some noodles to put it on and some cheese to put on it. I doctored it a bit toward the spicier side, and I think that it's a success.


I also got some writing done on one of my under-way novels. It would be nice to get one of them done by the end of summer.

Looks like we get warm today and cooler with rain tomorrow. Then it starts to warm again next week. Hell, it is mid-May, so I reckon that it's about time.


Cut my thumb in the middle of the pad last night on a can of tomatoes. It's still tender. Those are annoying while they last. Good thing that it should heal quickly.

Happy Saturday!!! Slept okay, cats are fed, josh is lit, coffee is getting all coffee-esque, and the dehumidifier is running right along. We get some rain this afternoon at some point, but it is cloudy and breezy out.


Thewre is a stack of stuff inside this house to attend to, and it looks like a good weekend to attend to it.

It's that weekend. Because of work and life schedules, we are celebrating today, because of impending rain, it shall be an indoor celebration with comfy padded chairs and no sunburn. As the one most like to turn lobster red in minutes, I'm good with this. Coffee has been had, the little one gifted me a handmade card and homemade cookies which she will probably eat and the others are making some of my favourite foods so it shall be a nice day.

Mrs. Tyler has been fed/fetted all she's a-gonna get from her dear son Wat. That leaves the actual day opne for festivities with her Favorite Son and his family - who seem to be no kin to me most of the time, oddly enough.


Gonna change my duds and get into clearing up a bit o' shit around here.

We got a drizzle on and off all day, nothing serious but just enough to use as an excuse to enjoy afternoon tea and some reading.

It's starting to thunder out there, which often means that it's a'fixin' to rain. Got a bit of de-pigging knocked out in the yard. The lawn mower will need to make a pass over the next few days.


I think that I shall go ahead and spring for the over-fucking-priced hydraulic pump for the little red-belly and get it up to functional. Then I can haul it Out West when next I go and haul home the wounded one from there for a good going over. Which likely will include rebuilding the hydraulic pump that I pull out of this one. and sticking it in that one.

Happy Monday!!! Up and down but slept okay. Generally a bit tired of late. Perhaps a touch of malaise. Perhaps a touch more action is required.


I think that Kitten has a housefly to keep her entertained. Funny how cats can catch the little fuckers.
