TSCLT 12.0: The pantheon hates a pussy 2.0

For Wat's uninhibited opinion on Lit trolls-n-jeenyuseses, allow me to refer you to post #9086.

The work computer just fucked up. Seems it's having a Windoze izz-yew and turned up st000pid. And it's limping now that it has restarted. Fucking thing is 4 months old and never gets tooken out to all of the exciting places (like this one) that this electronic monstrosity does. Go figure.

Today has been more gooder'n expected. In fact, today had kind of stuck in my craw over the weekend. I guess I was stewing a bit over how the fuck we were gonna meet something resembling a schedule in order to get these units delivered. Ray Charles could see that we weren't going to hit the original delivery date, and there has already been some nattering about it, too. Nothing serious, no jobs threatened, and no yelling. This place just isn't like that. But. People want what they want when they want it. And they don't want to hear the "well, we're a new department" shit indefinitely.

Long story short, my boss got us a 7 week extension. All praises to Allah for his manifold blessings and great mercies!!! This will make Life a bit more palatable.

And I see that Joe the Plumber has kicked. And that some folks feel the need to demean him and his "trade," and whether or not he was one. I know, let's kick him because his 15 minutes of fame was more famous than ours. I think the guy was an independent tradesman who works some on the table and some under it, and that's a lot like a lot of folks who are numbered a notch and a half above the Working Poor. "He's not a plumber." Motherfucker, when my head is under your kitchen sink fixing shit or changing your fucking toilet out, I'm a motherfucking plumber. Got it???

Home. Grazing in on leftovers. Debating whether to freeze the rest of this or to leave and figure the fridge is cold enough that it'll keep until we get back. I have another 24 hours to think about it.

My framer says he doesn't have a screw gun. Not at all, or just not with you? Son, you need a fucking screw gun. A good one. An impacter.

Happy Tuesday!!! Slept well enough. Forgot to set the alarm and only overslept by 15 minutes, so I got time.

Job feels better today. Thanks, Big Boss Man!!! And thanks be to Allah, too, for moving him.

Kids may get some hurricane. Wat has bits where tornadoes blow. It's always somethin'.

Thanks be to coffee!!!

Morning all, the cup is full, the work has started, and things are off to a good start today.
The meteorologists even say we're going to get some sun today, given how dark it is out I'm not sure about that one.

Here on the site. This joint is jumping. 320 sheet of drywall have arrived as well as 5 guys to install it. They have pitched in to help the framers wrap up their butchered wood. Thanks be to Allah! Their lead guy is a kid who has Teh Good Engrish and a great can-do kind of attitude. It's one morning, but I asked for help with the truckload of counter tops that arrived and he took care of it. In an hour. Put away and cleaned up.

Maybe I finally got a non-weasel . . . . Insh'Allah!!!

The sun is out. It's not supposed to be. I'll take it.

FB reminded me I won an award 9 years ago. It's still taking up wall space in the office.

The land development project Out West should be all but finished this week and open for customers this weekend. That'll be a nice touch. I have a couple of tasks related to that, including a trip to the lawyer to sign some paperwork. If this bit of development works out, then we have a lot more dirt what can be done did, too.

I like my new not-a-weasel.

I need a 4x8 sheet of 1/2" drywall. If one could happen to fall off the truck at my driveway, it would be Allah's will.

So, you need broken pieces of sheetrock?

There's two half sheets in my shop you can have, if you pick them up. I'm always moving the damn things around. Sure as hell, if I throw them out, I'll need sheetrock for something.

I have three full sheets in the shop if you want to pick them up. I ordered extra when we did the expansion and they're leftovers.

Happy Wednesday. We hit the road last night, napped at a rest area, and then plowed out the rest of the way. Out West. Good thing I came.

The gummint changed the rules on what we're doing - the ones that we're adhering to strictly - and have New Roolz. The landlady was out piddling on the place and the gummint did a drive-by and have changed what is required. So we have to undo a couple of things and redo them to meet the new criteria - which is effective 1 July this year. Because we were in early stages then, we don't get grandfathered. We get porked instead.

I know, he was there to he'p . . . .

It's raining hummingbirds!

They're everywhere, but not for long.
They're have an agenda, they're on a mission...

I'm caught up for 15 minutes on my home projects and the lawn is mowed.

Getting ready to spend the first weekend at the new camp site. I have so much crap, I'm gonna need a bigger truck. Back in the day; I'd spend months in the woods with nothing but a knife and a flint.

Happy Thursday!!! Slept like the dead, but after the Tuesday Wednesday screwed up sleeping schedule, that's not surprising. There is quite the list of Out West projects to do.

It's nice visiting with the large pasture poodles. Strange with just the two of them now, but they're both Good Boys.

My mom used to throw us out of the house right after breakfast and lock the doors.

Lunch was on us. Good thing we lived on a farm.

It developed foraging skills...

The last three days have been early starts, today was not so I took the pupper for a nice run, now she's stretched out and snoring.

The P-ponies have already forgotten that there was ever more than two...

I don't think so. Maybe in time, but those fuckers are smarter than they let on, and they have an interesting sensitivity to things. Awareness. That is, to those who are paying attention to them.

First round of errands done.
