Talked to the boss yesterday about my break which broke. We'll revisit this when time comes, but I floated taking off around Xmas. That'll at least get us off this floor and into the easier part of the second one.

I had my doubts about it, mostly because I never get to see the Karma Truck makes its deliveries. And I have watched the well meaning get trampled by users and no-goods. The world is peculiar and difficult to make sense of sometimes.

I suspect that what is different is the perception of pain and happiness that you and I have versus many of the rest of the planet. You and I would tend to flatten the sine wave to keep things more even keeled and many others milk that high amplitude shit for all the drama that they can. Pain means something's up - right and wrong have little to do with it. We're ecstatic when we're content.
