TSCLT 12.0: The pantheon hates a pussy 2.0

Oh really? I printed those damned things off. You mean, I should have read the directions???

I may be changing forms next year, so I guess I'll be forced to.

They even do the addition and subtraction. You have to do your own multiplication. And filing is free on line. Didn't even need a stamp.

And, refunds come faster.

I use TurboTax home and business as a sole proprietor, plus I do taxes for some other small service corps, and others. I run it and then hand check it.
Knowing that lobbying of congress by TurboTax is the main reason why the IRS is prohibited from making filing easier… makes me completely unwilling to use their “services” under any circumstances. I would rather have to carve my tax returns on stone tablets than contribute one dime to their profits.

<Apologies for the rant.>

It’s a bill through for me. I started with macintax which was eventually bought out by TurboTax or whatever it was calling itself. It’d handy for downloading financials into.

Happy Thursday!!! Busy week this week. We get house visitors tonight, so there be a bit of scrambling. The agents of doom are chasing Kitten. I have the meat loaf fixin's ready to go.

It seems that thr IRS threatened to dawdle in dealing with paper returns, if I read the blurb correctly. Sounds suspicious, like making 2nd class citizens out of tree killers. The 14th Amendment must not apply to everyone, which is as I suspected.

Good thing that there's coffee . . . .

so passion does not,

I use an accountant and mine are done and filed.
I disagree with you on value added tax Wat, barter is alive and well in my region, the underground economy thrives on it and that doesn't even start to take in the issues of crypto with import/export and avoiding taxes.

I don't think that a value added tax would have any effect on a barter economy, or at least the barter portion of it. But lots of folks spend lots of money at Wally's et al, and that's the part that would get taxed. Stuff coming from commercial vendors.

Maybe I need to think about it some more.

This is, I think, what castles should look like:

They do dawdle with paper returns. I did paper 5 years ago and had a very large refund coming. It was in early and I didn't get my money until almost the next year. And then, they screwed up my reporting on SS and MC taxes. It was a mess.

I generally find when the government owes me, it takes time to process, if I owe them they set speed records.

Happy Friday!!! Got a house visitor. Had some family shit to do last night, more today, and still more Saturday. And there's work today. Busy x3.

Coffee x2 . . . .

The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be.

Hi, pussies!!!

There will be none of that fetid fecal god in here. This is Lit, after all, where the disbelievers are more adamant promoting the non-existence of god than any book thumping proselytizer could ever be promoting his existence. No, not a bit of arrogance or logical disconnect there. If it's nothing, then nothing doesn't give a retched motherfuck if you believe or not, because . . . nothing. St000pid cunts.

Except for Islam, the religion of the god we are afraid to disbelieve and the believers whom we are afraid to bash.

Except Wat. Wat fears nothing.

Happy Saturday!!! Another day dealing with someone else's family for awhile. Clothes in the wash. Heat is running. We get a bit of colder for the next few days, but with adequate highs for the day.

Coffee . . . .

R.I.P, Lefty. You were an asshole of a sort, but you were good at what you did. It would have been interesting if your best recruit ever hadn't become the first guy to bolt straight to the NBA from high school.

Lorca Again

By: Jim Harrison

When Lorca was murdered
they had him turn around and look down
the steep mountainside at Granada far below.
Goodbye hometown. They shot him in the back as always,
also in the butt because he was gay. The powerful
rifles splintered him and later the family
picked up the pieces on the slope for burial.
What a rare bird. It was like shooting
the last blue heron on earth. There's a sundial
there now. We drank a bottle Christine made
called Memoire. I choked on the wine
and tears. At some ages he was my favorite
poet who would make me moonstruck.
I walked along the Guadalquivir in Seville
and saw his perpetual shadow in the moving
water, the local gitano music constricting
and exploding the heart. Water kept carrying
this burden of musical shadow to the ocean.
In the Mediterranean I heard his voice on the water.

Happy Sunday!!! I think that we have the social functions all done with this weekend as of when we left last night. Coffee is on, shooping list is being made, and there's gonna be a bit of cleaning activity at the good little doctor's place later this morning.

After coffee, of course.

Not thinking about anything is Zen. Once you know this, walking, standing, sitting, or lying down, everything you do is Zen. To know that the mind is empty is to see the Buddha...Using the mind to look for reality is delusion. Not using the mind to look for reality is awareness. Freeing oneself from words is liberation.

Leaves

By: Ursula K. Le Guin

Years do odd things to identity.
What does it mean to say
I am that child in the photograph
at Kishamish in 1935?
Might as well say I am the shadow
of a leaf of the acacia tree
felled seventy years ago
moving on the page the child reads.
Might as well say I am the words she read
or the words I wrote in other years,
flicker of shade and sunlight
as the wind moves through the leaves.
