TSCLT 7.0: Hemis, Harleys, Hooters-n-Harridans

Perhaps with a nice/lovely weasel casserole.

Fucking MicroCrap strikes again. I just did an update and now this machine is running dog slow. I sometimes wonder if they do this shit on purpose so they can sell their next offering?

Gratz on finding an honest mechanic. An honest mechanic that actually knows what they're doing.

They are as hard to find as unicorns

As long as that voice isn't crying wolf.
Spotted the fox yesterday.
Haven't seen the local cats lately...
He's pretty damned big. I doubt if I can trap him.

If the cats are missing it won't be long before your chickens start to disappear.
You may want to consider a snare or net trap if you don't have a live trap big enough.

Ran good, but I set out in the heat of the day. Gas mileage is off. A/c will do that but not 24mpg.

They had to do a hard reset of the codes, I think the car has to learn my preferences, and how I drive. By this morning I'm getting about 40mpg.

There's a minor growl to the CVT. I was warned two or three months ago that I'm probably going to need to change out the CVT within a couple of months...which is why when it popped into neutral and gave me the red triangle of death we all assumed it was the transmission. Still probably going to need to do that I'm wondering if I shouldn't have had them just go ahead and do it. Every mile that I ring out of this unit though is a mile that I don't put on the next unit.

After the Honda for a week this feels like a luxury Sorrento. I did enjoy shifting gears on the Honda but I can't really ring the Honda out because I'm already leaking enough oil I don't need to blow any past the rings as well.

There is an honest mechanic around the corner from work. That makes things easy.

There looks to be some feral cats in the neighborhood that we've only seen on the Ring Cams. if they start to poop in SWMBO's flower garden, I may have to take care of them.

I have a good mechanic as well but he's a small one man shop and I dread
when something goes wrong during his twice yearly holidays.

And we haven't had any visitors to the yard recently. This is a good thing as
my husky likes to adopt wayward critters and surprise me with them through
the doggie door.

Home from the morning errands. And Allah is in charge today because it's fucking hot as Islamist Hell out there.

It'll likely be a two shower day.

Waiting for my latest hot rod book to arrive. That and new work shoes. My feetses will like those.

There may be a nap in the near future . . . .

So I got the oil pressure gauge thing sorted out, and I went and put it in the oil tank.

Where it promptly rose to 115* or so.

Poor bike is sitting in the sun now, so it hasn't cooled off entirely since I parked it when I got home.

I feel sorry for her back. :(

Cool story, bro.

Brrrrrr, maybe you should pm thor and get some pointers on dealing with that level of cold.
