Two lies, one truth

1. I have never lied in a post on Lit.
2. I have lied about some details to protect my identity/privacy.
3. I have lied over and over again about loving chocolate—it is actually disgusting.
2 is the truth

Either 2 or 3, hard to say as you're so fit (in all idiomatic senses of the word). I'll go with 3.

1) I spent 19 hours inside Kings Cross the day after the fire.
2) I used to compete in regional marathons.
3) When I first studied extrasolar planets the equipment wasn't sensitive enough to find them, even though I was looking in the right place.

#3 I hope as that would be the coolest job on the world besides visiting one.

1) It was still so hot and full of toxic fumes next day that we were only allowed one hour stints underground. I was at King's Cross for 19 hours, but I only spent 10 hours inside (protecting the scene for forensic analysis). I had finished at 19:00 on the day of the fire; which started at 19:22 and burnt for approximately 7 minutes before it was spotted at 19:29. https://www.railwaysarchive.co.uk/documents/DoT_KX1987.pdf

2) I ran and competed regularly but my longest race was a 15 miler.

3) Yes, in 1986 I was using the radial velocity method and the minimum oscillation I could separate from background noise was 1,250 ms-¹. The maximum velocity shift in any of the primaries of the 6,000+ currently known extrasolar planets is <900 ms-¹.

Edit: clarifying that the motion detected is that of the primary star, not the orbiting planet.

Not such a cool job but an important one. Not sure how I would feel getting of work that close to the fire.

The fire was out just before 2am, it was residual heat and byproducts from melted plastics that were the problem.

1) I once killed a mule by punching it between the eyes after it stepped on my foot.
2) I can run a mile and half in 8 minutes
3) my distant cousin is Ronnie Vanzant from Lynard Skynard

I’d guess 2.

1. I French-kissed a girl in high school.
2. I worked as a groundsman for a power company.
3. I never get compliments on my legs,
