There are a lot of different accents here in the uk that vary considerably, some sound good, some sound weird, some or just hard to understand I personally love the Scottish, Irish and Australian accents

I think the Scottish, Irish and Australian communities would be very quick to say there's no one single accent in each of those countries too...

I find it strange how quick someones accent changes when they move, I have friends that emigrated to Australia and they soon got the Aussie twang, and my sister moved up north in the uk and when I hear her speak now it just sounds so different to growing up

It's the same in the US. When I lived in the south with my dad's relatives, I started "talking southern." I don't think I have any kind of discernable accent now.

Have to confess something. I am an Austrian man who has spent half his life living in the UK.
Whenever I hear a lady/girl/lass with a heavy accent from Liverpool, I get an immediate hard on.
Coleen Rooney --- is my goddess ... clever, great looks, lovely voice and just the right accent for me.

I know a lot of British people would see that very differently ...haha

Austrian men have their charms, also! I had an Austrian boyfriend for a short time.
