Yes. It was a real shock when my mum died, but my dad being diagnosed cancer is even more of a shock, as he really has been so healthy.

My mum has had a mini stroke.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope that she recovers soon. I'm sending you all my best wishes.

What a rough few weeks this has been. In fact, I have to say that this year has been pretty horrible so far.
