I bet so. Glad your shoulder is going better. I am working on a walkway in the backyard this weekend so I am sure I will be sore in the evenings but nobody is going to rub away my soreness.

Well in my humble observation ( & only being on this section for the past year) it seems that the men outnumber the women by approx. 10-1. With those kind of odds you may have better luck in Vegas. Do you concur good Sir? Slainte

I would say the ratio is probably more 100:1 but still does not mean cannot have some interesting conversation via th a threads. If no one posts then the thread will die and that will drop the chance of meeting someone to zero. Even Vegas odds are not that bad. Just my thoughts.

You make an excellent observation. Given your 3700+ posts, an experienced one to. I will keep that in mind,& attempt to keep the thread “ alive”!

It really is hard to figure out why there do not seem to be many people posting on the thread. Don't know if there are a lot of lurkers who just read but don't post or if there is just a lack of people from Virginia on Lit. There is certainly enough population in this area to support a lot of users but maybe the topic of sex is just something that Virginians are not that interested and don't search out.

To me the thread is a good way to meet local people and talk about what is going on with their lives.

In an effort to promote more folks to use this I’ll throw my hat into the ring. If anyone is taking a day trip to Waynesboro on Thursdays, I’m the Volunteer at the Plumb House from 10:00-1:00 every Thursday through the fall. Every Saturday I’m up a New Market from 10:00-3:00 at the Shenandoah Valley Battlefield Headquarters right
In the heart of “ Downtown New Market”. The Stonewall Jackson coffee shop is also located in the rear of the building & serves up a grand cup of coffee. Have met people from all over the world at this place. Let’s see if there are any History Buff, Day Trippers out here in the Commonwealth!

I’ve heard a lot of people say life in The Valley is boring, in a good way. Hopefully this isn’t an indication about the lack of fellow dirty-minded people around! I certainly would love to find out a neighbor or two were as horny as I am on a regular basis.

Retired here 2 years ago, from the Buffalo NY area. Bought some land, had a log home built. Plenty of history, scenery, small towns, breweries, wineries, parks etc. Although the “dirty minded” people do seem much harder to track down & talk to here....

I joined the Shenandoah Valley Battlefield District in Jan. Of 2018. Obviously I’m a Big Civil War Nut . Anyway, most Saturdays on up here, manning the Visitor/Info desk at their Headquarters, right at the Big intersection in town. There is also a fantastic coffee shop called the Stonewall Jackson Cafe. I’ve met lots of interesting folks from all over the US, Canada,& various parts of the world. Amazing how the little crossroads town attracts people. But it’s in the heart of the Valley right off I-81. You have the Shenandoah National Park, New Market Battlefield & lots of other attractions. But mostly it’s meeting folks from all over & talking history, where their from etc. Good Luck on your outside project. Remember to keep your “ fluid levels “ topped off

I enjoy visiting the different Civil War battlefields. I did go to an reenactment at Bull Run several years ago and would love to go see one in Gettysburg.
