Veroe's idea box

A conversation in Perplexia's pool palace has led me with a desire to resurrect some version of my Succubus Queen idea. About a succubus who was summoned to a medieval fantasy world of mortals but gets stuck there. So she takes over the kingdom of Asaria. The thread will revolve around the state of the world her prolonged presence will have.

I originally did this as a group thread but am debating whether or not it can be done as a one on one.

A fantasy romance story idea

Crown of Prophecy
An order of oracles have forseen a great and terrible darkness befalling the world. Fortunately the old gods that shaped the world has chosen one mortal to unite the scattered kingdoms of man and lead them against the coming darkness. So these oracles spread out across the known world searching for the child born on the prophesied day, the only child born on that day.
They find one a baby born from a prostitute on the day in question with the star-shaped birthmark. They pay the whore handsomely and take the child providing him the best tutors in statesmanship, leading men, philosophy, strategy and war to prepare him for his role as the chosen savior of the world.
And it is working in these areas young Aresander excels.
When Aresander is old enough they help him conquer or negotiate the absorption of kingdom after kingdom.

But here is the sticking point. These oracles take a hallucinogenic herb to receive these vision these prophecies from the divine. Including the ones about their chosen one and the coming darkness. If these are prophecies from the gods then they are saving the world if the prophecies are nothing more than the collective delusions of a group of drug addled monks then they are helping a narcicist of their own making conquer the world for a threat that does not truly exist. Which is the truth? Who is to say?

My character, Sir Callain Tor'Evry a soldier, and envoy of Aresander's empire sailing to the distant kingdom of Turnaria where he discovers the youngest princess of the king of Turnaria bears the same birthmark, and was born on the same day as Aresander. How could this be? Only one child was born on the prescribed day according to the prophecy. What did this mean? Who was the one chosen by the gods? Was it Emperor Aresander or this beautiful young princess?

Hmm...I always get the most interest in my ideas when I have so many threads going I couldn't possibly add another.

What a bummer.

I know what you mean but, assuming you'd consider writing with me...please do keep me in mind when a suitable 'slot' in your schedule opens up... ;)

A new idea involving the X-men.

Prefessor X has found using Cerebro a new mutant with an enormous and dangerous potential power. A grad student that went to junior highschool way back with my character. A mutant and student at Xavier's school for gifted children.

So he and Prof. X along with Storm, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler take a roadtrip to invite her to Xavier's. Unfortunately Magneeto's Brotherhood of Mutants has also learned of this new mutant and her awesome powers. They also covet recruiting her and will fight the X-men at her grad school to do so.

Which side will she choose?

She and my character will get seperated from the brotherhood and the X-men.
