Commences dance of arousal.:catgrin:Rawrr!!!

He also does the dance of Shame at some point. Joss is also the guardian of the tomb of the old gods towards the end of season five.

:DHe's also a nepotist, but then every time he's given a actor/actress he's already worked before with and/or befriended it's worked out wonderfully

for example Alan Tudyk as Alpha in dollhouse.

well, most of them at least. That said if he'd had a successful idea since Angel/Buffy those actors might get more work. Though it's an utter shame that Alexis Denisoff hasn't had much work since Angel ended, that guy has talent.

Here Here!

He needs to stay away from Fox.

Seriously other than football I watch nothing on Fox anymore. Why bother...if I start watching and liking a show there...they cancel it.

I really wanted to see that show Terra Nova but it was on Fox...so nope...not getting on the viscious ride ever again. Fox has just hurt me too many times its no longer worth it:(

I actually don't watch much network TV when I do watch TV. I haven't seen Terra Nova, but from what I understand it's pretty good and has solid ratings. The thing with Fox is that they care about ratings first and foremost, they've canceled plenty of good shows that didn't have numbers.

I think Fox goes through more shows than the other networks, though I couldn't swear to that.

Looks indignant and taps my chest...

I did my part! I sat! I watched! I liked! I told others to watch and they'd like! Dollhouse, Firefly, Terminator, space: Above and Beyond...All of them still canceled too early. Once is too bad, twice is unfortunate, three times is a pattern, four times is a habit...And I have chosen to no longer be a participant in Fox's bad habit of cancelling shows I like.

Maybe the problem isn't with those shows maybe the problem is a bunch of numbnut tv executives that want ratings akin to American Karaoke Idol and don't realize it would be a real longshot for a genre show to get ratings like that.

Maybe they should stop trying to have genre shows they're incapable of appreciating and make a dozen spinoffs of American Karaoke idol instead.

Woooh...that stirred some rather bitter stuff from me.

Commences the dance of cheering up.

I'm with you about firefly, but dollhouse never clicked with me. I was annoyed with them when they canceled "John Doe" and Firefly. But yeah, they're obsessed with huge numbers as opposed to anything quality. CBS used to have some before everything became a CSI spinoff, NBC has a couple that are decent, but generally if you want good genre shows you need to find other channels.

Amen to all that you said there, bro.

I should apologize about my comments over my utter disdain for American Idol. I realize some people find quality entertainment from it though I find it impossible to understand why.

Guess what! I'm Back!!!!:D:D

No damn virus can stop me. My buddy fixed my computer earlier than I thought. So hooray for miracles! :D

Thank you all for your well wishes and understanding. I'll be working to catch up on all our threads asap.

But first allow me to commence the dance of triumph.

123 and a 123 Starts prancing about sticking arms and legs randomly and making a ridiculous spectacle of myself.

:D

YAY~!!! It's good to have you back Veroe =)

I must say it was quite the saddening affair to not see your threads update while you were gone. Stalking has been quite the past time and you've been sorely missed.

She pulls a chair and straddles it.

Have your ideas been brewing during your stint?

I did have one or an idea to rework my succubus queen idea.

When I was explaining the character's backstory to Perplexia a while ago I realized she will work much better as the big bad guy for a fantasy thread.

While I was away I started thinking over a one on one thread with her as the penultimate bad guy taking bits of my old SQ thread and shuffling them around some and making up new bits for it to make a whole new idea.

The result is a thread where me an my cowriter would play one good character each and continually swap control of a whole array of NPCs including the Succubus Queen as they interact with our characters.

If I may comment...

Your rant about AI pretty much sums up my feelings. I can't wrap my head around the interest. I love music, but I don't want to listen to a bunch of would be stars sing other people's music, often badly.

TV, save a handful of shows, pretty much blows. I've sadly accepted trashy reality TV is what the majority has voted onto the networks.

Heh. I doesn't own a TV. I haven't had a TV for 6 years now I think. But then again, I don't think I'm quite normal. I never grew up with TV priveledges.

My understanding of TV shows and the like is limited to what I overhear from people in passing. Which isn't much. I'm not sure if that's fortunate or unfortunate... Makes it hard to relate to people I think

I spent five years without television, the five years that included the debuts of AI and Survivor so I was decidely out of the loop. That said I didn't miss it at all, and there's only a handful of shows I go through the effort to watch now.

I wouldn't go that far...

plus citing me as an example pushes you more towards strange than away from it.

I have toyed with the idea getting rid of satellite television since so much is accessible through the internet. Anything within my interest I'll hear or read about and can track down. Sure, I might have to wait a few months for some shows, but I'm typically patient since I mostly DVR the shows I do watch, and can watch them when I have time.

Would I honestly miss anything currently on TV if I had to remove it from my life? I'd miss Doctor Who when it airs, but everything else I know I could survive without.

Though I will say this year I've really enjoyed Once Upon a Time, Grimm and American Horror Story.
