Violet Wands - WOW!

I don't know whether to shiver with fear or with . . . :D
Either way, I think you should shiver. :p

This is all too like a page out of my journal of almost a week ago.

The burns are a real thing but not untolreable and for me lasted 2 days.

Ah chemistry.

For the most part, yes. Safeguards are only enforced by humans and you know how humans will be.

And, a wand will leave marks...actually burns,..if the intensity is set high enough and if an attachment used is pointy enough to send that intensity to a very small area of the skin. The burns mentioned in her post are really no more than something like a sunburn, that will go away in a few days time.

But, you can easily produce burns with a wand, if you know how to do it, and want to do it. The subject must also be able to handle the intensity setting that is required. And, I'm impressed that she was able to do that, with her first experience.

I'd say everything was in place for BeachGurl2 to be able to take what she did. She was in a semi-public setting where others were gathered around and watching. Subconciously, she didn't want to offend the Dom and also didn't want to make a scene by stopping the action that was more than likely quite erotic to watch, let alone participate in.

She'd never experienced a wand before so she wasn't aware of how it should feel. That accounts for her not knowing of the high setting. If she was feeling any real pain, it was more than likely short lived, and exciting. She had her own Dom there and felt secure that he was watching and making sure things were OK to continue and she was probably feeling quite aroused herself, because she was at the center of all of this.

It's sometimes amazing what the human body will allow us to do. Endorphins can take over and almost super human abilities seem possible. I'd say she got caught up in the moment, everything went well, and she enjoyed herself. The result of all of that? The marks she has as trophys. I think, all in all, she had a good time and would do it again. And, I'd like to be there to watch. :D

Yes, they're an electrifying experience.
My, that's such a shocking statement. :D

Cricket Song, are you saying you don't know what a violet wand is?

Do you know what a TENS unit is? Are you familiar with electroplay at all?

No to the TENS unit. Electoplay sounds like it has something to do with shocking.

Hmm, looks like one of those static globes you find every where now. I lost a wristwatch to one of them once.
Well, it is similar. A violet want produces static electricity and I'm sure that could do nasty things to digital watches. Just like lightening can cause power surges in computers, this would be the same thing. Digital devices should be kept away from most electroplay toys.

Check out this link if you want to find out more about violet wands.

P.S. The site has a plugin that you can install, if you want but it's just for show. You don't need that for anything else. Just click on ENTER and then any of the links within the site for info.

*shudders* Now, I understand. Looks like a toy version of something I had built as a child. Used to throw a spark a couple centimeters and melt a hole in a penny....

Hmmmm, when a metal object like the Wartenberg pinwheel is connected to the wand, it can sometimes feel as if it will melt a hole in your skin . . . :cathappy:

Why would you want to do that?

Obviously, I wouldn't want to melt a hole in my skin.

Because the pinwheel is metal, you don't want to hold it in place, you move it across the skin. If you hold it in place, it would burn the skin. I've been told that you can brand with a wand, but I'm not sure I'd want to try that.

It's difficult to describe the intense feeling of the wand. It's similar to shocking yourself when you touch something after moving across a carpet, except that it is continual rather than quick. Unless you're tapping against the skin with it. And when you remove it from the skin it is a kind of quick zap. But it's like any other type of pain. You do it because it feels good.

I've only experienced it a couple of times, so my knowledge of it is very limited at this point. DVS is by far the expert here. But the couple of times I've tried it have led me to want to try more with it and see just how far I'm willing to go. The problem is finding someone who is experienced enough to experiment with me. *sigh*

It's kind of like an addition to crack, isn't it.:D Once you've tried it, you can't stop!

Damn! I wish I went to your school. That sounds cool!

Didn't do it in school. It was a home project. At first it started out as a Jacob's Ladder, but we soon figure out more interesting things to do with it.

Ah, another use for the pinwheel thing. I use it to mark where I need to punch holes in leather for stitching.

I'm not so sure I'd enjoy willing shocking myself; I generate static electricity on enough of a regular basis that I'm afraid to touch anyone or anything before I discharge....

Some people like the effects of the wand so much they discharge in a very different way.

Don't think of it as the same as when you have static electricity in your fingers. Yes, it's the same thing, but you can turn the intensity down so it isn't so much.

Ah, see, you already have one of the best toys for the violet wand.
