With this one I'm going to try doing something I've been careful to hold off doing previously.

Clothes take time to take off. When writing posts in your SRPs involving removing your character's or your partner's character's clothing don't just mention it in a throw away line and move on with the scene. Removing clothes even shirts and pants that are fairly easy is a process that takes time so use that process to reveal something about your character: something like how impatient they are to finally have your cowriter's character naked body against yours, or go into the frustration of having to break off that passionate kiss to pull that damned T-shirt over your character's head, or the frustration of that damned bra that needs more than one hand to undo so you have to take your hand away from the urgent business of fingering or stroking your partner's character just to bear the treasures held captive by the before-mentioned damnable bra.

My point is that so often the removal of clothing in too many SRPs is a missed or neglected opportunity. I ask all of you to be mindful of the oppurtunities removing your character's or your partner's character's clothing can provide for a good SRPer.

OK lecture over.

As I said above I've purposely avoided lecturing you all in the past because I felt like it puts me on a high horse above you all, which isn't fair in the slightest. So I'd like to use this as something of an experiment. If you don't mind me lecturing you all like this and would like to hear more please tell me here (or give your own thoughts on the subject), or if you think where do I get off acting like I'm better than you please tell me. I'm really on the fence about doing this again.

Agreed. Clothing is sexy. It can imply, rather than reveal, which always much sexier. Nude bodies are fun, but dressed bodies are exciting. You need to cross through the excitement to reach the fun.

Nods.
