So, let me get this straight. I'm not the only one, other than Scouries, complaining about the voting system around here (lol). Well, that's a relief.

The fact is, after writing one or two stories on this site, the scoring is as fair as it can be. I don't know how Literotica can do any more in trying to make the voting fairer, than what they are doing now. Secondly, I don't know why they'd want to waste their time and money trying to do any more than what they do on a free site.

Someone wrote, if you don't like they system, don't post here and I agree. This is there site, Laurel and Manu, after all and we are all just guests here.

I don't know of a better site for writers than this one. If anyone knows of one, please let me know.

Holy shit, Pilot! You are right, again. It was two sentences and they were both grammatically correct. Now, I could have been insulting to her as others by putting more words into the two sentences, but I chose to be politely insulting instead.

But then it went all day and you didn't. Guess you were busy doing your nails, or thinking of what favors the Web site could be doing you personally, or something . . . I think the voting system should be done away with altogether. There's simply no possible method to make people happy with it. The number of submissions on the site is too large to police by a human, who maintains judgment and can selectively choose which votes stay and which votes go. The only viable recourse is an automative vote-scrubbing system, which is prone to failure at certain times, leading to these huge persecutorial conspiracy fantasies.

It's pretty simple. Programs fail at simulating the real world and real humans. They can do a good job, but they can't do it perfectly enouhg. Someone will always get the fallout from program!fail. But if the world was a fair place, capitalism wouldn't exist.

So, if people can't be adult about a flawed perk on a porn site, then why have it?

Wouldn't being required to be logged in and having the system tracking how you vote do the job? It'd be able to make it easier to find when people are voting rather fradulently.

The other way is to go to how sites like xvideos or youtube do it--go to percentages and just have a "like" or "dislike" button.
