washington peeps

I had to go to my lawyer's office in Bellevue today. I think I have officially given up the fact that very few people are actually practicing this stay-at-home order. There was only slightly less traffic.
Since it is my husband's birthday I stopped off to get him a birthday card and something small. I wore my gloves and mask. I don't thick the store was any less packed.

I hear you. There is a small park a couple blocks from my home, I walk up there daily to get some exercise and come home. Its been pretty deserted since they put up notices that all the equipment is closed. But As I walked up the sidewalk day before yesterday there were a bunch of teens at the park... not at all concerned with keeping distance. Almost normal sadly. Ive seen that traffic is much lighter early morning when most would be going to work... but during the day/afternoon/ evening, I dont see any difference. Its like people say at home and sleep in, then run around like normal.

We went to curb side pick up for most of our groceries some time ago. The only evidence of a change is that we almost have to order them a week early to get a pickup time... so more people are clearly picking up their groceries... but I agree. The good weather is making people want to get out... and they are... I considered last week how much easier it is to stay home safe when the weather is crappy out (a lot out here) but when the sun comes out and it gets warm.... that makes it harder on people...

,,,, and dont even get me started on all the people protesting to get things running and open... Do they really think that is going to help get through this PANDEMIC?

I think what we are seeing is people tired of staying in and feeling they are safer now than what they were. Not bothering to consider how they may be risking others safety. I don't believe that for a minute and will continue to stay safe for the time being. I make a once a week trip to the store with a mask and gloves. Other than that I am home. Of course I say all of that because I am at a higher risk than some. I just feel better about choosing to reduce my risk if possible.

Okay that is it :)

If anything, the parks are more packed. No social distancing. No masks.

This is how I will treat it also. 😉

Looks like there are about 2.5 mil people in king county and Snohomish has 800'000. We have less than 8000 cases. We were one of, if not the first states to get hit. I am very happy with how we have handled it so far. Long ways to go though.

Well as construction opens back up. I have 2 family members going back to work Monday. I'll still be home though and plan to stay that way for a bit.

Good to know I am not the only one that wants to stay safe :)

I made my weekly trip to the store and plenty (too many) not wearing masks or wearing gloves!!!

New blood!! ;)

I was up North yesterday getting a new puppy. Oak Harbor. It was weird seeing the park/bridge closed (Deception) I swear when I was there in November, it had as much construction done on it then. Apparently whatever they are doing, didn't get much farther.

I know exactly what you mean. It was probably December the last time I went over to OH, and they had the bridge closed to one lane. I think they’re trying to do more than paint this time round. I heard mention of a caged-in below the bridge walk for tourists to be safer. I don’t know if there’s any truth in it. I’ll consult the friends.

It’s been an odd spring with less rain than I’m used to. Is it strange that I’m missing it? It’s been plenty overcast, but I want a real rain soon that I can dance in.

I know it's weird. It's less the rain than normal but yet I'm ready for at least half the day's to be son. I have puddles all over my yard right now. You are more than welcome to come down and dance in any of them you would like LOL 😜

Wondering if any dtf people wanted to go have bonfire at my house on acreage near Stanwood or go to my beach cabin in Tualip

Just saying hello to fellow Puget Sounders. Since I can't go out, I need to satisfy my cock virtually.

Still keeping safe here at home. Still working from home as well, matter of fact I worked 80 hours last week and close to the same this week by the time all is said and done! Whew I am beat!

Hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and healthy :)
