Just when you thought you had heard about every level of stupid imaginable . . . .

Be very careful. The next thing you know, they will report your post when you refer to Top dead Center, because that top center is dead, and that means there was violence, which is against forum rules.

Just a word to the wise . . . .

It must be very exhausting for you to work so hard every day at being smug.

Best of luck with that, they are getting expensive and hard to find.

Got a 47' Dodge COE in relatively good shape back during covid, I looked at the prices of total junkers a few months back and about filled my britches. Chevy square bodies and F100's aren't any better.

There's a '63 GMC 3/4 ton nearby. All original but it's really rough. (Really REALLY rough.) The price is almost right for it if you have the muscles and time and space to pull it apart for a couple of years. Bad news is that it's a lien sale at an auto body shop so back tags are going to be due. Which is why the price is slightly too high.

There are a few others around too. I have another lead on a '78 Chevy 2500 which had a boo boo on the front end but is in otherwise great shape. More pricey but it's still a good deal even with needing a fender & hood replacement. Good thing about this one is there's no over the windshield drip rail on the cab to rot out. Bad thing is that it's catalytic and smog pump equipped.

No matter, I'm in no rush. Because this is So Cal where cars are everywhere.

Timing. It's all about the timing. Too much unwanted advance and you get detonated. Too little and you end up like progressives - retarded.

Yea, stuff just like that is what I come across like 90% of the time.

That's the ticket. (y) Sorry to hear you live in hostile territory, but it is a rust(less) haven of classic cars, better to make the best of it.

Haha.
It’s cute that YOU believe that I just out of the blue read anything YOU happen to post 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, yes. We actually understand that your cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon came from the liquor store where a "Distributor" left them for you to buy. You should dwell on the question of whether that's what I meant or not.

In other news, I have an appointment with the FFL first thing in the morning.

FedEx dropped off the half case of ammunition for it.

‘Murrika‼️‼️‼️

There was a free kick in last night's game, and they're uncommon.

Kind of like an unassisted triple play.

You know nothing about what I do in real life. Unlike you, I do not brag about it.
There is nothing to know because you have no life, TrashPanda. Thus nothing about which you may brag.

What i do know is that you intrude in this thread stupidly and arrogantly, with nothing to say beyond noise.

The grubs here are the problem. You're just a symptom.

Where were you in this? I can understand your fear of guns.

( O O )

Ammo was here safe and sound - in spite of FedEx and their inability to follow simple instructions.

The Luger gets a new home in the morning.

We get the smart and then we get the st000pid also. It makes a body wonder - a bit. It's that Wat Derangement Syndrome, I tells ya. Nothing else it could be. Five out of four doctors strongly advise that it's 100% preventable, but no, that's too easy. It's catching, it's powerful, and it is the single greatest cause of vicious ass cancer that Allah has ever allowed to be. It's a damned fine thing that Uncle Smokin' Joe Willie finally beat Medicare so they can die in agony in charity wards somewhere in the middle of no fucking where.

Meanwhile, Wat will outlive the lot of them because Allah so intends.

That don't make the very first lick of sense.

Happy Solstice. Stripping made me think of that.

I haven't pulled together the makings for a bonfire. Maybe I'll just use the house next door.

It seems to remain very windy at OH-dark thirty. It was still Fall yesterday morning and they say it will be Winter here shortly, Having it down to the minute makes me a bit uncomfortable though. A solstice isn't really a second in time. It's a more significant marker than then. It proves something about the regularity of cycles and the "ostensive" humility of man.

So since it came up yesterday, I looked up unassisted triple plays. There have been 16 of them, 15 in the modern era, and 14 in the regular season - one in the World Series. The Team formerly known as the Cleveland Indians has been involved in fully 6 of them. For something that almost never happens, it happens to them. Go figure.

I find them fascinating. It gives us an opportunity to observe our insignificance. If we were smarter as a species (not coincidental that it rhymes with "feces"), we would embrace that insignificance and have some gratitude for our being able to Be Present for a few of them,.It should also demonstrate to us that Mother Earth exists completely in spite of us.

We have a Space Event on the calendar scheduled about bit more that 11 years out, which, if it happens in one of the models, will prison rape dwellers along the Pacific. I mean, ArmaGoddamn. Welcome to Powerlessness. But what hurts the fragile not-smart-"human" (read: "libturd") psyche is the word Insignificance. We are all of that.

Cue Billy Mays: "But wait, there's more!"
