Another reason to carry a 1911 type system. Magnets probably wouldn't work on that system.Just when you thought you had heard about every level of stupid imaginable . . . .

Be very careful. The next thing you know, they will report your post when you refer to Top dead Center, because that top center is dead, and that means there was violence, which is against forum rules.
Just a word to the wise . . . .
Best of luck with that, they are getting expensive and hard to find.
Got a 47' Dodge COE in relatively good shape back during covid, I looked at the prices of total junkers a few months back and about filled my britches. Chevy square bodies and F100's aren't any better.

There's a '63 GMC 3/4 ton nearby. All original but it's really rough. (Really REALLY rough.) The price is almost right for it if you have the muscles and time and space to pull it apart for a couple of years. Bad news is that it's a lien sale at an auto body shop so back tags are going to be due. Which is why the price is slightly too high.
There are a few others around too. I have another lead on a '78 Chevy 2500 which had a boo boo on the front end but is in otherwise great shape. More pricey but it's still a good deal even with needing a fender & hood replacement. Good thing about this one is there's no over the windshield drip rail on the cab to rot out. Bad thing is that it's catalytic and smog pump equipped.
No matter, I'm in no rush. Because this is So Cal where cars are everywhere.
Haha.
It’s cute that YOU believe that I just out of the blue read anything YOU happen to post
wat is a whiny victim, always has been.It must be very exhausting for you to work so hard every day at being smug.
There is nothing to know because you have no life, TrashPanda. Thus nothing about which you may brag. You know nothing about what I do in real life. Unlike you, I do not brag about it.
PooPoo PeePee:wat is a whiny victim, always has been.
That's why she connected with bigfatbitch1000 so quickly.
Whiny twats of a feather...
Down where you reside?Yea, stuff just like that is what I come across like 90% of the time.
That's the ticket. Sorry to hear you live in hostile territory, but it is a rust(less) haven of classic cars, better to make the best of it.

Well merry christmas to you.
It seems to remain very windy at OH-dark thirty. It was still Fall yesterday morning and they say it will be Winter here shortly, Having it down to the minute makes me a bit uncomfortable though. A solstice isn't really a second in time. It's a more significant marker than then. It proves something about the regularity of cycles and the "ostensive" humility of man.
