Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

A piece of my family ran a winery in Germany for a few generations, and maybe a few more before that. The crest has a wine pot in/on it. Built on the foundation for some Roman structure, so the story goes. (Wat pays just a tad bit of attention to stories like that because so few of them are really so. Anyway, it was known (allegedly) for the sect produced there.

Last I heard (wasn't paying close attention), they sold the business.

As Vonnegut says, so it goes.
He also said "Hi ho."

His MOTHER NIGHT is a fascinating portrait of extremism when it was on the margins of American society.

The portrayals of OSS and KGB and Nazis are accurate.

I suspect he borrowed from this indispensable work:

I begin more and more to embrace my own extremism.

I got there by becoming intolerant of intolerance.

I'm flattered, but sadly for you I'm into women.

I hear wat is into your kind.

Good luck with that.
Poo Poo Pee Pee,

All incels are "into women."

Sadly, women aren't into criminals who threaten minors, like you.

Women don't like Hitler types that are into fecal sex, like you.

Women stay away from arrogant compulsive liars, like you.

Golden showers are ok with some, but since your gross obesity precludes you from finding your penis, you'll have to make do with those used diapers you sooooo love.

Women are into people who write and publish books.

That's one of many things at which i excel. Because when you're not an incel, you may excel.

This holiday season, remember the fate that awaits you:

And do remember me as i am:

Once long ago when i was a young Commie fanatic, Sen. Barry Goldwater ran for prez. Year 1964.

I demonstrated against him. Fought cops face to face... officer breathing in my face... his hand on the nightstick.

Suddenly the line of protestors moves in unison against the line of police. Up comes a police fist... i was down, disoriented... a pretty girl i desired cradled my head... later my mom said my ex-g.f. called and said i was knocked out by cops on live TV.

I'm an exhibitionist. Fighting police is way more fun than watching old Kevin Smith movies. Imagine the Roryite kommissars here weeping over the elex while roaring with laughter at this:

I prefer my porn:

Ennyhoo...

Barry got flak fron the libbage for saying "extremism in defense of liberty is no vice."

Speech written by Karl Hess, a libertarian in the mold of St. Ed Who Needs No Abbey But Deserves A Few Nunneries To Play With In Heaven...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Hess

Later the quote was ascribed to kewl people like Cicero... Thos. Paine...

It's ascribed to Barry here:

Would Barry G have been a better prez than Barry O? Who knows?

"We don't need an elected king."

I think that Barry was a patriot. I think that people feared that he'd get us into WW3 by escalating the 'Nam to a very hot conflict. Maybe. Maybe not. In hindsight, the whole thing probably didn't need doing. I'm inclined to think that we wouldn't even have been there were it not for our strange but continued loyalty to Lafayette and the French navy. The entire pantheon knows we have paid them back a gazillion times over. Let's stop now.

Of course, there was this young man named Nguyen who went to Paris in 1919 with a lovely long expressive letter that he wished to give to World War Wilson. Being as he was, basically, nobody, best he could do was get one of WW's aides to take it with the "promise" that he'd get it to the president. I'm 100% positive the only place that Chairman Ho's letter saw was the inside of a waste paper basket. We loved them while they fought the Japanese and then gave them back to the French in 1945, not seeing that the Nazis had destroyed colonialism (on that scale) forever.

Quite correct.

However, because the Russ were not at war with the Japanese, and because the Chinese Red Army was too far away, throughout WW2 the Stalinist V-Coms stayed quiet.

The Chinese Red Army was also out of the anti-Nippon game. Which is why they didn't gain power until 1949.

When the Rev came, it started in Saigon, led by... Trotskyists.

They were murdered.

Ho was a very determined fellow to get his people out from under colonialism. One takes one's help from whenever it comes, I suppose. Beggars and choosing, that stuff. The world should have paid attention when they kicked out the French in '54.

A lot of the legionnaires who died there in the 50s were Nazi war criminals who joined the Foreign Legion to get Long Gone. They offer a nice package of citizenship, debt forgiveness and reidentification. The biggest problem is, you still have French officers . . . .

Some of the posters here should look into it.

The meek man is not a human mouse afflicted with a sense of his own inferiority. He has accepted God's estimate of his own life: In himself, nothing; In God, everything. He knows well that the world will never see him as God sees him and he has stopped caring.

~ A.W. Tozer

Even though the training in ethics takes many forms, the ethics of abandoning the ten non-virtues is their basis. Of the ten non-virtues, three pertain to bodily actions, four to verbal actions, and three to mental actions.

The four verbal non-virtues are:

1. Lying: deceiving others through spoken words or physical gestures.

2. Divisiveness: creating dissension by causing those in agreement to disagree still further.

3. Harshness: abusing others.

4. Senselessness: talking about foolish things motivated by desire and so forth.

The opposite of these ten non-virtues are the ten virtues, and engaging in them is called the practice of ethics.

I did not ever feel the need to visit Europe. So much of it already lives here and you have to ask yourself why.

Finding no good answer, I never found any reason other than, it's old.

Yellowstone is too.

[response to direct reply/challenge {followed by lecture. paid zero attention in college, went for the degree}]

There are a couple of things that I'd like to see. Otherwise . . . .

We have a vast nation here. Learning about it is intriguing enough.

No, not the former litster, either.

Build Big Hangars

3D the shit for people to see. Change the show weekly. Keep 'em coming, never leave home (security).

Americans are just targets. Wealth envy.

I have decided to give the Lit "gift that keeps on giving" this holiday season, the gift of Iggy. I'm a bit conflicted choosing the recipient.

Allah is correct: it truly is more blessed to give than to receive.
