Weekly artistic challenge

Suggestions...

So glad this thread is taking off!

My thoughts...

1) Happy to take suggestions from all about subjects - but Rhapsody and I make the final call.

2) Old pics are ok - but the real idea behind this thread was to get us out and about with our cameras - so thanks for those that took new pics especially for the challenge - the more of those the better!

3) If we set the challenge on a Friday, people can get out at the weekend and post the following week.

How does that sound?

and this weeks challenge - if I may...buildings.

:):)

Wow, I go away for a couple of days and so many great photos get posted I couldn't possible comment on them all, but I really liked the low flying birds. :)

Okay, there we go!

Unlimited gear helps, but doesn't make me good at architecture photography :p

Oh it helps, and do not even go there...you are so talented. Might be good for all of us, gets us out of our comfort zones.

It's true, it is nice to get out of your comfort zone. However, I will have to bow out of this week's challenge anyway (not because it's buildings) but because it's Inventory at work this weekend, which means I have absolutely no spare time. I'll be working close to 30 hours in 2 days... Good luck guys, I'll check in to give my comments :)

I use to work a job where I was in charge of the warehouse for a manufacturing company.. hated inventory..

I once had to do a stock-take in a bread factory. Hours spent in a deep freeze at minus 20 degree C. Not a lot of fun and on Christmas Eve. :(

Never again.

A few I took last year at a friends lake...
All were taken in 45 minutes one camera (Nikon d300) and one spot. It was my own challenge LOL. I was so impressed with the range of colors one sunset can bring...

While I feel you are simply chickening out, I will allow you to do your darn inventory. Sheezz, so responsible and stuff!:D

Yes Thank you, I have a few older ones but have seen a few current places. I will try to take some visual inspiration to post!

Beautiful!
Mine came from the same kind of deal.. one cold January morning down at the lake waiting on the sunrise.. it was peaceful sipping my hot chocolate and watching the world wake up..
