How does one prepare for hell? He wasn't sure exactly, but he was going to give it one hell of a shot. Heavy footfalls were the only announcement given. Steel shod boots were clunky and tended to weigh down the wearer, just as much as the rest of the gear. The soft chirp of the PASS device every few seconds was yet another method of destroying stealth. He wasn't relying upon stealth however, he was relying upon shock factor. Head to toe was concealed behind a layer of yellow and black fabric. A mixture of several fibers made to stand up to extreme temperatures. Each breath punctuated by the rush of air not from lungs, but from the pressurized bottle strapped to his shoulders, sitting upon his back.

His wicked chuckle was muffled behind the mask which the air flowed into. Hands covered with thick gloved twitched around the long hose line as he searched for his target. A shift of his right hand to the end of the nozzle as he saw who he intended to find.

He spotted Nina and with a wicked laugh he pulled the hammer open on the long nozzle. The pressure came out in a mist. It was a blanket of ice cold water rushed from the long phallic tip. It bloomed like a flower as the icy mist coated the unsuspecting woman.

He wasn't dumb enough to wait around for retaliation. Dropping the hose line water still running he spun on his heels and darted for the door, laughing maniacally

Watching, nearly in disbelief as she watched the figure emerge. She didn't move, just watched, because really, when the fuck would you think a fireman would show up effing HERE!.... He moved.... and she screamed bloody murder.

Flames ramped up, Hell became a blistering sauna as she shivered uncontrollably from cold, shock,, cold, surprise, cold, anger, cold.... It took a minute for her to give chase. Thick thick mist soaked her to the bone as she ran toward the source of male-that-needs-ass-bit-bloody-off!

He felt the boot slip free of his foot. Thinking perhaps he had just been caught on a piece of debris. Then he felt searing heat on the sole of his foot. Ok, so not debris, a very pissed off Nina.

Scrambling to his feet in time to see Nina appear in a fiery halo of anger he couldn't help but chuckle. He had a few options still, none of them really good. So he tugged off the helmet, the mask, and the fabric hood with it and just grinned at her.

"You looked a little warm darlin. Was just trying to help you cool off."

Her eyes narrow she watched headgear pulled from the oh so amused one....

Her head canted... and she smiled....

Her smile grew darker. -More than one way to skin a cat.- Time slipped and slid from the clock.. and she watched as ever so slowly smoke started to appear at the seems of his suit.... She wondered just how long he could keep all of it on. She purrrred, the more it heated and purrred louder the closer it got to flash point.

He walks in finding his dark corner his eyes covered from all by his dark sunglasses. Dressed in his normal Jeans and a t shirt with his favorite boots on. He sits in the recliner pulling out a bottled water... Waving to everyone trying not to be a diversion.

Given the situation.... it was hard. I have stared death in the eyes many times throughout my ems and firefighter career. but when the doc tells you that your little one is looking at a fate suffered by others I loved and looked up too. I brought back old memories.. But on the good side it's only a 5% chance.
