Cracking open the new edition of Terminal City. The original run of which was a big inspiration for Intersect City (and, therefor, Rebecca). While Intersect is much darker on the surface, both have that Noir feeling, and both have a massive dose of weird and magic and science fiction. I dunno, its kind of exciting to be able to go back and re-read it now, and to have the second series, too (which I didn't know even existed!).

I really can't recommend this comic enough.
