I am so excited to be able to report that our dear WickedWoman is the proud grandmother of a beautiful baby girl, weighing in at 7 lbs., 12 oz. Mom, baby, Dad, and Grandma doing very well.

Just have to say that WW's e-mail was so cute. She was so excited! She got to hold the new baby for over an hour. Just precious.

She'll be back tomorrow evening to fill us all in. Hey, WW, thank you for letting me share the big news!

Thanks bg for posting this for me. As I've mentioned before, my BB is a prude and won't let me access Lit.

Excited? nah? why would I be excited? Just because after already having a 2 year old granddaughter, I know how much fun they can be. Just fill my heart with joy.

This precious one is the first child for my eldest son and his wife. Yes bg she was just hours old when I got to hold her. She's so good, though my son was encouraging her to try out her lungs. He'll soon learn to stop that! She was so funny. When I was holding her, she was humming...kind of like a cat purrs.

Got to visit again today. I was good though, and shared her with her other grandmother today.

Thanks for all the good wishes bg, quoll, tease, ed, and yank (you would make me blush, wouldn't you?).

Now give me two more months and I'll have a similar annoucement for my youngest son again.

Life is good.
