I think about this too. If you are going to say that you haven't talked to someone and it is not someone you'd like to talk to...why even post? Wait for someone who seems interesting, so you can get a zinger in. It's why I don't post on a lot of those kinds of posts. But I think maybe there is a relaxing aspect to it? I am not sure.

for me it's the hits of dopamine through the interaction. the notification revealing something new or a possible connection or interaction. i already know i'm posting too much but i am enjoying revealing myself a little at a time.

I completely agree. I wasn't gatekeeping. If you haven't figured out, I am neurodivergent, so I like to think things out aloud so I can better understand them. If this is something you think is a problem, I won't post in this thread anymore, so I don't upset people. I am genuinely sorry. I'd like to add that not agreeing with something or understanding it isn't saying that other people can't enjoy it.
