Surround yourself with real people... people who care for you but don't always think like you. But having a "kind" of person to talk to is just a sure fire way of always living in disappointment.

But genuine people only seem to exist when things are going well. I wish I had some when things aren't going well too
When it's always one-sided, it's discouraging to find new people who might just cause you more pain.
