What do you like about AmPics?

Thanks for coming over to the darkroom to share your thoughts.

It's interesting reading everyone's likes. They're similar stories with a twist about the good people you meet here.
I've been fortunate enough to receive many of your thoughtful compliments over my time here. I must say I have enjoyed seeing both you and MsG become more active here and participate in the art threads.

Thanks again for starting this discussion, and let me add, if you think you've been fortunate to get my compliments, I've been fortunate to see you in those pictures that deserve more than my little compliments. Anyway, the back and forth--post and respond--is what keeps this community going.

Very true, we equally need viewers who comment and pic posters.

•Why do you visit/post on Am Pics?

We visit for the naked women. It is also nice to see personal glimpses of people and the successes they are having. We post because we are exhibitionists.

•What's your favorite thing (not person) about Am Pics?

Boobs. Probably my favorite thing not on Am Pics too.

Haha. Thanks for sharing your answers. I think boobs are lots of people's favourite things.😄

The posting of a pic of yourself is really putting yourself out there. It's scary, exciting and fun. Having posted a little yourself I'm sure you appreciate that more.
Ampics works because we have people who like to post pics and people who enjoy looking at them and giving feedback.

It works also because for the most part, the people are genuine. Yes I have appreciation for it, and much respect for all of you. It is scary, but a lot of fun.

I've enjoyed them, I do hope you post more! :)

I do plan to post more, and hope to contribute more as well as my confidence grows. Thank you so much for the ego boost.

Yes, for the most part they are.
I still remember how scared I was the first time and with certain pics I still get nervous.
I'm pleased you're joining in more as you grow in confidence.😄

I understand what you mean, but you have nothing to be nervous about. I think you have a great body.

I look forward to contributing more.

Overcoming the nerves is part of the fun.😊

the honesty.

Thanks for your input.

I love seeing people embrace their sexuality and test their boundaries. I also enjoy how positive and encouraging everyone is (99%of the time)

I check out most threads at least once or twice. I have posted on a few threads as well.

Always fun here.

It's great to hear the things you enjoy about Ampics.

MsG thanks for joining in. I like that you're both enjoying lit as a part of your relationship. I'm sorry to hear of your illness but glad you've recovered.
It's lovely to hear your favourite things.

Thanks, Icy. I have gotten other notes about my health, really nice. I am really much better these days, and posting pics here is another way of feeling better too. Better than the BP pills do for me, that's for sure. Thanks to all of you. That I guess is another favorite thing here.

•Why do you visit/post on Am Pics?
I used to have my own thread, when i was younger and deeply insecure about my body. Posting pictures made me realize that my insecurities were holding me back, that i was blaming the way i looked for my lack of luck with men. The AmPics was my way of coming out of my shell (in real life, i am shy and slightly reserved), accepting my body and most importantly loving it. Of course, along the way i made some incredible friends, and got the most amazing support from everyone who visited my thread. The never knew how much they helped me with my body esteem issues.

Oh, and i enjoy looking at semi dressed/naked men. :D

The real people, its not just a bunch of ppl oogling other ppl's bits and being total pervs. Also, everyone is gracious, and there's the whole friendship thing that happens naturally.

Another thing occurred to me this morning. Before I spent time in Ampics, I had a fairly narrow view of what female body types attracted my attention. This place has forced me to change my views. It has been an absolute delight to discover how beautiful and sexy women of all ages and body types really are. Perhaps all men should come here for a little "enlightenment."

Couldn't agree more JR.

I'm so happy you're so much better. If ampics is the key to BP control we can expect a surge of posters. Lol.

Lol. We can all post and ogle each other's.
And hello to a fellow Aussie.😄

Nice to hear that ampics has increased your enjoyment of perving. Does this spill over into daily life outside lit as well?

There are many reasons.

First and foremost is that I appreciate the beauty of a woman. Each woman is unique and sexy in her own way.

The next reason is that I voyeuristic. One of my favorite sexual activities is just watching a woman squirm and ache for sexual release.

Finally, I would have to say that these aren't the prototypical supermodels that culture shoves down our throats.

honesty and openness.

After reading a few stories, I thought I would move forward and find out more about the people of Lit. It soon became obvious that viewing real pictures of real people was quite arousing. Chatting and interacting with the great women of lit gave my libido quite a boost, and I soon became a regular visitor. I loved the way most people here accepted everyone just as they are.
I also found an opportunity to make great friends and get answers to questions that I have. Questions that even in 2016 are not commonly answered. I found a group of people, most of which were very tolerant of other peoples imperfections and very forgiving when errors were made. A warm group of adults sharing what society seems to call taboo and improper.
Despite vicious attacks on members that may have gone astray, I have stayed because I think there is more good than evil here.

I'll be against the grain...

Why?

I was having a midlife crisis at 29 <---yeah. I know. (Shut up I_G), I had done a few things which were very out of the norm for me. I let my guard down, and while it didn't blow up in my face completely, it was uncharacteristic of myself. I have always had serious self-image problems, and by extension probably moderate body dysmorphia, which is still a work in progress. All that to say, I was like, well, I have already done a few other things, why not this? So, I started posting, and I was really surprised by the reactions. That said, I do look at most of the comments as appeasing (me), or self-serving (aka. followup PM). HOWEVER, it has certainly made me a little bit more aware that I am not a complete troll, and I think in some ways my self-confidence has risen, particularly in my appearance. I never worry about my cognitive thought process or my intelligence, that is simply proven without a shadow of a doubt (most days :p).

What do I like about it?

I like how so many people are free. I like how so many people have the guts to do what they do. But I do often wonder to myself, how many of the people who post in AMPICS are doing this for attention? How many of us are looked over in our day to day lives and come on here to gain some recognition or to be noticed? While we can sit here and say "everyone is beautiful" and "everyone is AWESOME on the inside", the fact of the matter is, most of us are average (however you choose to measure that). How many of you would ACTUALLY be attracted to someone you have called "sexy" or "beautiful", "stunning" or "cute". If you were to cross paths off of Lit, would you notice that person? If you look around the forums outside the AMPICS, 99% of pictures posted are average height women, who are slim, young and "beautiful" (men, add muscles). I guess I look at AMPICS like a big warm hug, but how genuine and realistic that hug is, is really hard for me to wrap my head around. All of that thinking then lends to one of my largest fascinations which is online relationships/connections and their importance...

Anyway, just an honest answer to an honest set of questions.

Thanks for answering these questions AuroraLens.
Beauty and sexy is far more than one particular look. Make or female.

Seems a similar theme to how many started at lit and in turn ampics.
Your idea of openness and honesty and real people differs to mine.

Thanks for your honest answers Interested_Girl.
I'm not sure you're going against the grain. You made many points I know I agree with and have felt myself at times.
I think life affords us little opportunity to be praised for being attractive. We want to be valued as a person first. But with being told by media and such that one particular look is what is attractive we start to wonder if there's anything in our averageness that is beautiful.
Ampics seems a good way to explore that.
Every day people getting viewed and complimented by everyday people.
I think we are often too hard on ourselves about our own appearance. There's plenty to find attractive in average people on ampics and in real life.

Like many, i first found the Lit stories.

Then i somehow found ampics - and i loved looking at the pics of sexy women of all ages.

Over time, i developed friendships, and the camaraderie and banter is now more important than the pictures.

I guess it's obvious that i'm a bit of an exhibitionist and like posting pics too...

Thanks crash. The friendships formed can be amazing.

Yes, it does.

Oh the opportunities. Lol
