What feeds your soul?

He knows now to only listen to it when I'm not home.
he can come here to listen to it if he'd like. :)

i love classic rock... very odd since most of it was recorded before i was born or when i was just in early elementary school. i didn't even really start listening to music until i was about 15 then i jumped right into all the prog rock and classic rock stuff courtesy of a good friend who played keyboards and wanted to be the next tony banks.

Oh, I like classic rock too. I just don't care for Focus.

But I'll be happy to send him to you anyway. I could use a break. ;)

WFMS...

* Talking with a missed friend.

* Laughing with another friend - who has a touch of evil inside. :D

* Putting wheels on the trolly and the trolly on the track.

winning $65 last night... now i have enough to buy my bike with poker money... just have to gather a few more wins so i'm not totally obliterating my account.

everyone remembers the first thing they buy with poker winnings. :)

It was that old favorite that even dimwits who can't play the piano can play: Chopsticks!

It was hilarious because we just couldn't coordinate our rhythms. ;)

I should add that I am one of those dimwits. I'd love to take lessons.

A ducky little box full of some wondrous cross words and a most melodious bush. :rose:

watching birds fuck in the middle of the street... at least i guess that's what they're doing.

feeding my soul
is not
the simplest thing to do.
sometimes a word
a turn of phrase
others a sentimental story, nice pen
of friendship
... just the wonder of it all.

as of late, I feel lost
a tight rope dancer
who forgot to fall back gracefully
dip tight n low
skip ahead the schedule
then pack it with a punch.

where has time gone, how
do I get it back
taking baby steps seemed
appropriate
now time for the test.

soul is in the lost n found
growing old and
weary
of this sickness.
heart diseased
humiliating headaches so loud
tell me how
please.
how to find
my lost soul ...

just a thought ...

:rose:

Good for you! Is it hard to say goodbye to your graduating students?

Thanks bg :)

You know sometimes it is difficult to know I am never going to have their smiling faces in my class again. Then again, there's that saying: "All bring joy to this room; some by entering, some by leaving."

:D

Next year, it will be special as that will be the 4th year I have taught at my school ~ and see my first class of freshman graduate. :rose:

i FINALLY found and removed this damn strand of thread that's been loose in my shorts. :nana:
