What feeds your soul?

Seeing the smile upon my daughter's face. She's such a remarkable young woman.

Surrounding myself with the animals, I so love and adore.

Seeing nature's beauty and feeling her light, shine down on me and cleanse my soul.

Feeling like things are actually ok... granted, not perfect, but ok... wow, I almost feel like a grown-up. :nana:

Nice to see you DK, and am glad things are OK. Good bump too.

WFMS...

* Although a struggle, letting anger take a seat in appropriate matters. Feels good to learn how to be angry instead of just get angry. Seems strange probably but it's good and right for me.

* Almost -- almost getting a box in the mail today. I promise it won't become a Christmas box.

* Writing actual words that have turned into sentences and sentences into real paragraphs. Big doings for my mind of late.

* Laughter and knowing where to get it -- cheap too.

Feels good to have a snack of soul food again.

^^^^^ So glad to see Cate having her soul fed. :rose:

My soul was fed this past week by re-connecting with a dear friend from the past who I haven't heard from in almost 20 years. I was punk'd by our mutual friend who surprised me by bringing us face-to-face. It was as if time stood still and we comfortably picked up the threads of our friendship.

The joy on my husbands face when I sing hymns at mass. I'm not good, but he really loves it when I try.

Hearing... "There's my mommy" in a crowded room and seeing it's for me.

Re reading letters that I wrote. Seeing beauty in the words.

Breaking out of shyness and the gifts that are borne from it. Always, without exception, I will meet a person that steers my path in a different direction.

Change

Independence

Following through

Connections living and dead

Great thread.

oh I can agree with that...not much sweeter than holding a grandchild...especially for the first time. So pleased for you.

that slow sensual feel. his hand, sliding
knowing every moment, is precious. every
second, means a lifetime ...

Things that feed my soul...
My family, especially my husband, daughter and my mom. It doesn't matter if it is the good or the bad.

Being needed and knowing that I really make a difference.

Writing poems, stories or in a blog. Sometimes it really helps put things into perspective.

Sunshine, fresh air and solitude.

Thought I'd share...

I was sitting on the bus and sitting across me was a middle-aged lady. All of a sudden, she smiled and chuckled to herself as if she was thinking about a good joke or was replaying a scenario in her mind. Throughout the bus ride, she had the sweetest smile on her face. It was uplifting to see someone being so incredibly happy with herself and not caring who sees her.

Being valued - appreciated - for who I am. All parts of me. Good, bad, kinky, shy...all of me.

For me it is emotional intrigue. to explore new sensations is to make me feel alive, expanding my soul, and my psychic energy.

What feeds my soul is people who love me, and writing, music,
a beautiful picture that makes me daydream, simple things
like nature..the moon, the night, the birds..things that
bring smiles, laughter.

My children
My dear friends and family
My animals
Exploring/challenging my faith
Being involved
Challenging myself to do more and experience more
Challenging others to make positive changes
Taking risks
To never settle
To love and trust unconditionally
The mountains, the water, the outdoors, nature
To know that I will leave soon the situation I'm in now and be able to move on with my life - and feel great about it!
