Maybe I shouldn't have asked you to fix it. The envy is strong with me today!

Absolutely amazing. I really wish I could go hike in places like those.

Glad to foment. I hiked for four hours and didn't see another human, although I saw numerous lizards. Definitely hike before the travel ban is extended to mushroom worshippers!

One more.

:) Mountains are always fascinating to me. It's very flat where I live. Soooo very flat. Our highest point above sea level is basically a hill.
Very pretty, DGE.

It's very flat were I live, too. It's been years since I've even seen mountains!

Mountains are always very exotic to me, incredibly beautiful. I'd really love to hike somewhere with mountains. Although to be able to do that I'd probably have to exercise for a year beforehand.

I am! Oh yes. But hiking-scenery sadism is a whole new wrinkle.

Thanks, Meek. I have lived in widely variant places; none was flat, and many were in mountains or foothills. Of course, I've driven through, visited and camped in many lovely flat places. (I liked not having to search for places to pitch my tent...)

You should totally do it, Seela; look at how excited you are! There are always valley hikes, and mountains come in all sizes. I have a friend who just climbed (not hiked) Mt. Hood near Portland, and he did train for six months. But that's a mountain where people sometimes die - I just got a little thirsty and got a rock in my boot and suffered the torture of no cell service for a couple of days.

Yes, I'll get around to it eventually. One day I'll come a-knockin' on your door to ask for a map to the specific location of the last pic you posted. :p

Mountains would be the perfect reason to go to Slovakia again. Hmmm.

The little old man was at the gym today.

Looking much better, haircut, color in his face besides gray, and clean clothes.
Where ever he is, they are taking care of him. Wonderful.

I was talking about bra shopping with a friend today.

Friend: It's so hard finding [her size]!
Me: I know, it's horrible, bra shopping suuuucks. At least you have it easier than I do, try finding [my size]!
Friend: *jaw drops, silence, she ogles my boobs*
Me: What?
Friend: You're shitting me, that's not even a size!

Well, it is a size and it's hard to find. But her reaction, with her jaw legit dropping, was hilarious. :D

I ordered food in Korean today!

It was the first time I ever used Korean in public. I was understood, but sadly I didn't understand what the waitress said to me after I had placed my order, so major fail on that part.

I got a lot of encouragement to continue with it and the waitress was genuinely surprised. Fun. :)

Baby's double take when I mention buying my new toy. lol Not much surprises that man. lol
Also the crestfallen look I got when I asked my new coworker about their bathing suit purchase. Damn if you hate it then take it back.

Three salespersons standing just inside the door at Verizon today, waiting to help me. NEVER had that happen before!

Well...

I won a Chinese sumac and Japanese maple at the arboretum raffle. Got them planted, too.

A very productive day. (^_^)☆ And there's a pitcher of lemon water waiting for me.

My cat purring on my lap.

My kid hugged me in front of all his friends.

Andrew Zimmern was raving over LI oysters on The Travel Channel.

The other kid got his ears irrigated and was shocked he could hear.

How steadfast and constant he is, especially when I'm at my flakiest.
