What made you smile or laugh today? Part III

Out of cash and pain meds until payday tomorrow and roomie was nice enough to grab me some decent rum on her way home from work.

Kids loved the pool noodle pop guns we made that shoot little fluff balls.

Got the eviction date for my uterus and it's less than a month away, so much better than November/December time frame. (I know the medical issues but mines stopping me from working and walking and hell doing anything- it's such a bitch). Plans made for kid care aid during recovery and laptops ready for afterwards.

And rum, yeah rum.

Some days there's just one little thing at the end of the night that becomes the highlight. Two separate nights it was seeing a shooting star. Really had me feeling optimistic. One night recently it was seeing a bunny! )^o^( We had come home late and I watched it hop into the bushes. It was the first time I had ever seen a wild bunny here. My smile was so ridiculous my husband laughed at me. Tonight, it was a friendly conversation.

A blast from the past showing up in my email. OMG. Haha very interesting...yes.

I was laughing so hard at how excited my two dogs were when I dropped them off at the day-care thing they go to. It had been several weeks and they literally bounded out the car, overshot the corner to the yard, and went barreling into a small group of dogs that they know well. It was increadible to watch.

A very open, honest conversation with the Mr.

Shockingly so. Maybe a step?

Was expecting to spend my Sunday on freelance work, but with my partner's assistance we got it all done on Saturday night so I have a day of rest for once.

Realizing yesterday it has been 15 years since my last cigarette. Never even thought about it for the past 10 years....

I quit smoking for the first time about five years ago. It stuck 3 1/2 years ago. Best and hardest thing I ever did. I'm grateful to be free of it. I can't imagine ever going back to it.

Dinner made me smile tonight. Tasty. :)

Walking into my living room to see the dog asleep on the couch, something the Mr. does not approve of. Dog starts to get up and jump off the couch but sees it is me, not Mr., and lays back down, instantly falling asleep.

"Oh...it is just Mom. Zzzzzzzz"

My daughter this morning when asked what cereal she wanted replied with what sounded like: "porn cocks". I almost died laughing so hard. She was asking for corn pops. I honestly have a hard time not calling them that now.
