What made you smile or laugh today? Part III

Learning is exhausting and after class today I just came home and crashed. I’m pleased to say that I passed my exams and can now officially apply for a professional license. :) Also, totally rocked a 100% on the last exam.

Seeing you.

A dinner reservation to a cool looking place for tomorrow. I can't wait! Food is so good.

Running into a friend in the middle of a forest. That was bizarre.

Garishly whorish lipstick, but it was good. Some days just call for some of that action.

And it's almost Friday, which means it's almost weekend, which means it's almost Monday!

Still smiling over 20 laps yesterday. I don't know if I'm just getting used to pushing for more or if it is getting easier. Either way, I'll take the progress.

Side note- anyone know a good monofin bag? I'm almost to the point of saying fuck it, I'll make one.

Somebody sent me a task to do, and I procrastinated on it for three months because I really wasn't keen on doing it, and they just let me know that the project got cancelled so I don't need to do it.

Efficiency through procrastination, that's me.

Perfect!

I was told using German instead of English was bragging, because "normally people from Finland and Germany speak in English with each other". Too funny. :)

That sounds dumb. Wouldn’t they speak in the language they’re best at if both parties understood each other? English isn’t the end all be all of languages.

That's how I see it, but clearly not everybody agrees! :D

Had a nice happy day, spending time with Sir after a period of being unable to because of shifts, had a good spanking and just finished playing before his flat mate got home :D Then he made me a tasty meal.

My teacher kept pronouncing "delimit" as "deli meat".

And that's about everything I remember from the class.

ummm. what? are you cutting your hair??

I was going to, but chickened out.

It's shorter, and feels short to me when I wash it or whatever, but I doubt anybody else would say my hair is short. It's still way past my shoulders. :D

And now it's Friday again! Rejoice!

Wrapping up a project that went really well. We finished ahead of original schedule and delivered more than originally planned, the teething issues were milder than I'd been expecting, the clients really love it, and now I have other teams asking for advice on how they can use the stuff we developed for their own jobs.

I was asked if we have escalators in Finland.

For the ones curious about the answer, yes, we do.
