I still remember the exact place I learned this word.

I learned it in Polish, but it's basically the same in every language. I had a class in the old wing of the main university building in one of the classrooms that are still kept old-timey, my teacher wore black pants and a black and white sweater, it was a sunny but cold afternoon in October 2010 and we were reading a text in Polish and that word was in it. It's weird how some words and moments just stick like that.
