The Litties have been hosted in the PG - that's where it originated- but a lot of non PG things and people were nominated.
It's a silly thing that brings people together. But it's fun for most people.

Yeah, I just learned. I just never go to the PG (or anywhere else but here) unless I click on something by accident, so I don't know about things like the Litties. I checked the Litties thread and the poll and did recognize some of the names and threads. But most of them I've never heard of. I'm a hermit.

And before anybody points out that I post on a PG thread with at least some frequency... I've bookmarked the thread, so even when I go there, I never see the actual forum or the rest of the threads. :)

Nope totally understandable. The thread you post a lot in is nominated though! So you have a horse in the race. :)

It's fun for some people, it's an excuse to bully others and rub their noses in their greatest hurts for others.
Was started with decent intent, but people tend to get caught up in the "fun" of it and no one considers the hurt caused to others on the receiving end of mockery.

my little girl cuddling the heck out of me and telling me how she is going to take care of me when im old :p Granted she is convinced she will still be in school "when im old" >.> no baby, when you are grown I'll still be very much a capable woman just barely "over the hill".

Got a table in my favorite restaurant on the last night it's open. Lots of of good memories from there. I'll miss it. But at least on Friday I get to enjoy it all once more. :)
 
I'm getting better at coping with change. :eek: Go me. (Giving myself a good girl on that one)
I got thrown a curve ball that would have usually sent me into a tailspin, but I took it in decent stride.

Also, the scale FINALLY budged again! Whoohoo! Wow I'm a happy person. My boss is psychic (and also similar) she asked me when I came back on Sunday how it was going. I'd been lamenting the fact that despite all efforts nothing was budging. she told me I'd probably wake up one day and I will have dropped 5 kilos. .. I told her I only allow myself to check once a week since I tend to be obsessive, but her point stood. Lo and behold YUP.
 
The fact it's Saturday, and realizing that instead of being scared of the Saturday crosswords, I now look forward to them.

And it's not long until my birthday. That makes me happy as well. :)
 
A nice run with Lady C in reasonable weather.

Smiling because I spent time with my Sir and sisters today :heart::cattail: They helped me forget about life for a little while
