What pissed you off today?

I tried to sleep a little while ago, and ended up having a dream about my father practically severing my hand and leaving me to bleed out on the floor. The upshot is, I'm awake again.

You know what sucks about mental illness? Having it.

*HUGS*

I hear you.

My credit card company charged me an over draft fee, but the reason I was over drawn is they charged my annual fee to my card.

While driving to the gym ..............I got cut off not once , not twice but three times this morning by lousy , inconsiderate NJ drivers UUGHHHHHH

What pissed me off today: getting a call saying "your computer is ready for pick up", and going down there, parking illegally (thinking I'll be in and out), walking down there to an empty office. Waited for a while, no one showed up...Found my computer and it was shut down. Turned it on to see if it was fixed....and it starts updating.I now have it, still waiting, at home.

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but to me "you're computer is ready to go" means that it's been fixed AND that it's been fix-checked AND that it's "Ready to go". Which obviously I shouldn't be waiting for my likely glitched out update.

Hopefully I can figure this out myself, because if I have to go back down there again...

My own stupidity ... using the side of my wrist to break apart ice that had frozen into a huge block ... and a bruise has already formed

I know this probably isn't how it happened, but in my mind you just karate chopped a huge block of ice, it shattered, and then you walked away with only a bruise. I don't know whether that thought makes it better for you, or what, but it's certainly made you that little bit more badass in my mind. ;)

:D ... yeah ... that is *exactly* how it happened! How did you know? I just didn't wnt to intimidate all the weak people here at lit ;)

As for what has pissed me off today ... nothing yet, but I am still in bed.

Taking some rubbish down to our bin only to find it 3/4 full of someone else's bloody rubbish  I've pulled it out and put it in the only bin without a number on the lid, but if I find out who it was it's going to end up emptied outside their unit door - USE YOUR OWN FUCKING BIN!!:mad::mad:

it's bad enough to harbor these low opinions of hetero men, but to be presented with the spectacle of six respected Sirs and Masters all stamping their feet like a chorus of leather-britched Shirley Temples...

Hmm, suddenly I feel much cheered up.

Murder in my eyes ...

I was at the grocery store, not buying a full cartload of groceries, but maybe about 30 items. I hate the self-service check-out when I have produce because it never registers correctly and it takes forever for someone to come fix it. So, I got into the 1 regular line that was open, there was 1 couple with 2 cartloads of groceries in front of me but that was it. I was awaiting patiently, until the clerk and the guy in front of me stopped all proceedings to compare stuffed pepper recipes ... not paused, not slowed down, but came to a screeching halt (so I start getting a tiny bit frustrated, though still ok since I wasn't rushing to get somewhere). Finally it is my turn and the clerk tries to enter the first item. But it is still on the check from the people ahead of me. The clerk starts pushing buttons then mumbles about "frozen computers" and shuts off the register to reboot it. And as it is shutting down, the message comes across the screen: Operator Error ..... of course! And the next message ..... Cash drawer open. So he closes the drawer (which was the problem, though why it was still open, I don't know), but then the damn computer has to shut down and then reboot ..... which takes *forever* .... and as we are waiting (at the time I didn't realize just how long it was going to take) he is chatting with me about men and computers and how "boys with toys" can get so distracted ..... but then comes the best part .... he pauses and says ... wait for it .... "Oh, when are you due?" *sigh* I'm not pregnant.

Yikes, and the worst thing that happened to me was stepping on a bee and getting stung...

*bows to your wretched grocery run* and I thought it was irritating when I was at self check out and the people in charge of it are...just missing...you know, when for some reason the terminal INSISTS you need help and won't let you continue until someone helps you or clears the prompt...and you turn around and...no one is in there. no one is even in sight! Of course, then there was the old man chatting up the customer service who did at once point glance back to see if anyone was there needing help...but wait he didn't actually turn more than 90 degrees so he only caught the first row and i'm sitting there glaring at him on the second row... And, of course, the check out person with an empty lane who I made eye contact with can't say anything either

ahhhh grocery stores :p Your story takes my cake, though!

Tell me his name, I'll hunt him down and kill him

Slow ass crazy drivers in the rain pissed me off today!

Me too but my company truck has a governor. I can't even do the speed limit on the highway or my ass is grass. correction, my job is in trouble. I just can't stand all the idiots who wave their finger at me like I'm trying to ruin their day.

Yesterday, it was finding out my mom (well, step-mom, but she's "mom") has breast cancer. She's dealing with it better than I did.

Today, it was my reaction when my sister asked about mom's situation. I'm mad that I couldn't just fall into the positive approach but had to express my fear to someone. I'm scared for mom and hope her plan of action brings her the health and well being she deserves.

What pissed me off today? A random classmate asking me if I was a virgin over Facebook. As if he has the right to know.

Feeling once again disgraced by the ones who share my sexuality, as narrowminded as any bigot
