What pissed you off today?

So my boss tells me today that she and her daughters are going to Florida for April vacation.

We discuss, daily, the strains on our budgets.

Since the business moved 10 miles away from where I live last September, she has not even offered a raise to compensate for the $45 that it now COSTS me to go to work because of the commute ( I know it costs because I drive a truck, but it's all I have at the moment!).

I really, really dislike working for these people.....

The asshattery of certain people who are making my little brother feel diminished. Three hours on the phone with him helping him plan his retaliation made me feel proud of him, because he was really taken a critical hIt and is really handling it better than most. Really, so proud.

That being said, the crackle in his voice as that wasn't there 8 months ago has still has me grinding my teeth. Gah!

We found out yesterday morning that our Corgi, who's only a bit over four years old, has degenerative arthritis. She can still have a good life, a good long life, but there will come a time when the pain outweighs her quality of life. Sucks. Absolutely sucks. She's such a good-natured dog, always willing to play, to run, to get a belly rub... and it's breaking her "mommy's" heart, even though she knows there are years yet to go.

I am sorry to hear this.

May I suggest that you look into Liquid Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Although nothing will cure the arthritis, you may be able to minimize the pain. I have been taking Glucosamine and Chondrotin for years and it has made a huge difference for me.

I wish your "baby" many pain free years. :rose:

Thank you. The first thing the vet said was to put her on a glucosamine supplement, and recommended and sold us Dasuquin®, and she had her first dose with her dinner last night. :)

My best friend's family has had 3 generations of dogs in the time I have known them. Pets are family as I defy anyone to take care of another living being for a decade and not care for them.

I was going to suggest looking at dietary supplements as I know my friend's family did buy them for 3 years for one of their older pets.

Best of luck to you and a little but of daily prevention can add up in the long run.

I would mention that I take Glucosamine chondroitin supplements myself, but I already get enough jokes about my glossy hairy coat :p

W~

Having to do double duty at work today... So much to do and so little time.

Being reminded that I hate traditional buttercream frosting, even if I make it. Shit is way too cloyingly sweet and I don't see how anyone in their right mind likes it.

Also, fibro-flares suck especially ones that involve heavy amounts of stupefying.

Out walking the dog just now, I slipped and fell down a flight of stone steps. Miraculously nothing is broken but I have enormous white lumps in the places where I hit the stones and I think I'm in mild shock (hobbles off to make sugary tea).

Soft hugs to all three of you. :rose:

Owwie! Soft hugs, carefully avoiding the white-lumpy spots, right back to you!

Soft hugs to all three of you. :rose:
Thank you, from all of us.

It's simple... "you" write... I read... We discuss. I don't care that you use a motherfucking IPhone for everything and it's a pain. Why wasn't it done? I can't get to know you if you wont let me. I'm not a magician and I don't have all the answers. Don't doom me to fail by your lack of participation. If "you" can't do simple things like this, you are no where near ready for someone like me...

Grrrrrrr...

Update. I now have one entirely black buttock.

Thanks Bun. The three quarters of a bottle of wine I seem to have drunk all by myself this evening have helped somewhat

A minor surgical procedure that I underwent ,after recovering from the anesthesia, i have not been able to piss for some time

If that continues for more than a couple more hours, I strongly suggest that you contact a medical professional ... quickly.

Sinus pain/pressure that's radiating into my teeth. It's making it hard to concentrate and get anything done.

The twelve hour work day that attempted to go into over time because my replacement was bitching and moaning about how badly they felt.

*mutters to myself and wanders off*

An eleven hour work day with passive aggressive people. Why can't people mean what they say and say what they mean? I really don't get it. At. All.

Your piss poor observation skills, lack of common sense and failure to adequately plan are not reasons for me to jump when you snap your pompous english officer fingers.

NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY OFFICE
