What would you advise your younger self?

To ignore society's normal standards and have sex with male or female as I saw fit (or both at the same time. Also that any sexual act is permissible if both or all participants agree to do it - the act only becomes perverted if any previously consenting partner changes their mind and is then forced to continue.

To not get married so young. While it seems great that you meet your "soul mate" at 22, what are the chances he'll still be your soul mate at 43?

Good advice..........

I think souls change with time, unfortunately not all souls are heading the same direction.................

To just relax, have fun, and not take everything at face value until you know for sure. You'll save yourself a ton of heartache and stress that way.

I would advise my younger self that if it ever came down to a choice between what scares you and what feels safe, choose the one that scares you. Why? Because it requires you to push yourself past your boundaries, to find out what you're made of and it requires you to grow. Life is meant to be experienced.

There will come a time, though you will not believe it, when people will find you attractive. So this isn't forever. (It is about 20 years, though, so that thick skin will still come in handy.)

Oh, and also when I was at school (up to 16):

Cheer up, you miserable fuck.

Dear Younger Me,

Don't get married until you are 30.
Don't take out college loans.

Love,

Older Me.

PS: You really are bisexual. Its cool, chicks dig it. Don't hide that shit be proud of who you are.

Dear younger me, you are on the road to being fucked up but enjoy it along the way - you'll be amongst some good company.

If you want a list I suggest you PM me - it'll go on for ever ;)

To not worry what anyone else thinks you should do, what do they know about what's right for you and who are they to judge, just live your life and be happy.

Good Thread!

1. Don't waste your time on liars. You will not change them.
2. Stop talking. No one cares about your opinion. Shut up and listen.
3. Stop dying your hair pink/black/red. You will hate every picture you see of yourself 20 years later.

To give up on the hope of love, that it's not in the cards and just forget it and save yourself the grief of hoping. And to go into adult entertainment a lot sooner.

I'm still young but I do have a younger self, too. :D

I'd tell my 15 yr old self not to sleep over at that guy's house; it won't end up good, bitch!!!

I'd tell my child self to be less obnoxious, brash, and sensitive, and to be neater.

I'd tell my young adult self, like 17-20, be smarter and less cold to others. Come out your shell.

Dear younger me,
Don't settle.
And be more hopeful.
Guess what? One day you will finally see the light.
Signed
Older me.
